GATE 2026 Registration will commence on August 25, 2025 through the GOAPS portal atgate2026.iitg.ac.in. This year, IIT Guwahati is conducting the GATE exam. Candidates meeting GATE 2026 eligibility criteria can apply online within the prescribed dates. The last date to apply without incurring late fees is September 25, 2025. Registrations with a late fee will be accepted until October 6, 2025. GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two shifts, 9:30 to 12:30 pm and 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

GATE 2026 Registration Dates

Process to Apply for GATE 2026

  • Click on the application portal link (GOAPS) and select "New Candidate Registration"
  • Fill in name, mobile number, and email ID, then submit
  • Receive enrollment ID and password
  • Log in, fill out the form, upload required documents, and pay the fee
  • Submit and keep a copy of the application for future reference
