Micro Presentation Selection Process
The Micro Presentation tests how well candidates can communicate and organise their thoughts quickly. It also demonstrates their ability to present ideas clearly.
How the Micro Presentation Works?
- Candidates pick a number between 1 and 100. Each number matches a special topic.
- After choosing a number, candidates get their topic.
- They have 2 minutes to prepare & then must give a 3-minute presentation on that topic.
- If a candidate finds the first topic hard, they can pick another number for a new topic.
- Topics change randomly, so even if two candidates pick the same number, their topics will be different.
Key Points About the Micro Presentation:
- It is an individual task, not a group discussion.
- Candidates speak alone in front of a group of 9–11 other candidates and 2 panel members.
- No questions will be asked during or after the presentation.
- The panel will judge candidates on how well they:
- Think quickly and organise their ideas
- Speak clearly and keep within the 3-minute time limit
- Show good communication skills, logical thinking, stay on topic, use confident body language, and appear confident
Tips for Candidates:
- Use the 2 minutes to quickly write down key points or an outline.
- Focus on sharing the most important information clearly and briefly.
- Practice speaking at a steady pace to complete the task in 3 minutes.
- Stay confident, clear, and use good body language while presenting.
Personal Interview (PI)
In the Personal Interview, each candidate talks with the panel for 5 to 7 minutes. The interview checks:
- Attitude and career goals
- General knowledge
- Communication skills
- Clear thinking and expression
- Aptitude for management studies
Final Selection
The final decision is based on:
- Past academic records
- Performance in the Micro Presentation
- Performance in the Personal Interview
