Admission: The teachers at Asian College of Journalism are mostly journalists who work at The Hindu-2019, a popular newspaper all over the country. Some professors are experts in the field too. They include P. Sainath, Sadanand Menon, Bhardwaj Rangan, Nithyanand Jeyaram, and Shashikumar. The daily mostly leans towards the center-left politically. In class, we learn the basics of Journalism in the morning and then focus on specializations like Print, Television, New Media, or Radio in the afternoon. We have to pick a specialization before the interview. It's pretty straightforward!
Placement: The placement scene for our batch was great! Almost everyone landed a job by the time we finished college. Those still looking by 2019 got help from our teachers, who were experienced journalists. They quickly found jobs too. I got placed at CNN in Delhi and started working as a senior desk editor. After three years, I moved on to my next job. Lots of news outlets and publishing houses came for placements. The pay was good for most students. Since our course is intense, we didn't have to do an internship.
Campus: The Asian College of Journalism is a top place to learn journalism in India in 2019. Most students live in the hostel because it's far from the city and many come from different parts of the country. The hostel is cool - you meet people from all over. You'll see someone singing on the lawn and others relaxing, reading, or watching the sunset. There are great studios for TV and radio news, plus awesome computer labs for media and print students. The canteen has good food and snacks too. It's a diverse and fun experience at Asian College!

Admission: The course curriculum is pretty long and detailed. It can get overwhelming, but it's totally worth it. We get a good mix of hands-on activities and book stuff. The professors make sure we get lots of real-world practice too. The faculty really knows their stuff and teaches it well.
Placement: Most students get jobs within a month after finishing. Big channels like Mirror Now, Times Now, Republic, CNN, and CNBC hire from our college. Even newspapers like Times of India, The Hindu, Deccan Herald, and Economic Times come to recruit us.
Campus: I really like how they renovated the building recently. It looks modern and cool. The whole campus has Wi-Fi, which is awesome. The labs and studios are up-to-date. The production studios and classrooms are in good shape. The library is huge and has all the important journals. Only downside is that the hostel can get pretty warm.

Admission: I studied at ACJ in the TV stream. We had classes with BBC journalists and experienced Indian media pros. N Ram from The Hindu often spoke at our college. There's a special business journalism course too. We also had elective subjects, like Talking Cinema with Bharadwaj Rangan. It's cool to learn from the best in the industry.
Placement: The placements at ACJ are pretty good, but sometimes they get affected by things like elections or demonetization. During the recent general elections, around 20 students still haven't been placed because some media companies didn't show up. Companies like News 18, WION, Reuters, Bloomberg, Republic, and Mirror Now usually come for placements. The average salary is around 3.6 lakhs per year.
Campus: Being in ACJ is awesome! We've got 7-8 computer labs that are fully furnished. Plus, our newsroom is top-notch it's the only one in India that's integrated. We also have well-equipped newsroom studios and advanced camcorders for TV students. The hostels have Wi-Fi, and the canteens serve meals four times a day. It's a great setup for us students!

Admission: The teachers at ACJ are awesome! They really know their stuff and are always ready to help. The number of students assigned to each teacher varies based on the subject and group. The classes are great, and we get to learn a lot about media. It's exactly what we need to succeed in this field.
Placement: ACJ has some top-notch placements for journalism students in India. Over 95% of students get placed, which is awesome. The starting salary is around Rs. 3.6 lakhs per year. Companies like CNN, The Times Group, Republic, The Indian Express, The Hindu, and more hire students from ACJ. Your role in these companies is based on how well you do in the placement exams and interviews.
Campus: The classrooms at ACJ are pretty high tech. The Wi-Fi works well, but you can only use it after class, which can be a hassle. The library keeps getting more books which is cool. The canteen serves okay food, and the hostel rooms are just okay too. It would be nice to have some outdoor games, but we only have table tennis, badminton, and foosball.

Admission: The professors and staff at my college really know their stuff. They guided us well and taught us everything we needed to know. The course was spot on and got us ready for jobs. Exams were just right in terms of difficulty.
Placement: Most students in our Diploma course find jobs easily. About 70% of students get placed after finishing this course. The average salary offered is between 4 to 7 LPA. Companies like Times India, Hindustan Times, and BBC hire students from our course. They usually get roles like reporters, writers, or content creators.
Campus: The college had good facilities. The campus was safe with CCTV cameras all around. Wi-Fi worked well everywhere on campus. It was a small but roomy campus. Unfortunately, there was no hostel available.
