Admission: The teachers here are mostly good at what they do. But there are a few who don't really know their stuff and just wing it. The teaching is alright overall, but sometimes we gotta turn to YouTube for help. The courses are pretty spot-on and some, like SEMP, really prep us for the real world. Exams aren't too tough, which is a relief.
Placement: Most students in the computer program find jobs easily without any backlogs. Companies start coming for placements in the pre-final and final years. The salary ranges from 8 LPA to 52 LPA. The top companies are Nutanix and DE Shaw, but there are others like AlgoQuant, Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank, Citi Bank, Mastercard, and NPCI too. Most of the jobs are for software developers.
Campus: The computer department doesn't have its own building yet, it's still being built. All the labs are in one building, but classes are held in the academic complex. The rest of the campus facilities are good. The Wi-Fi isn't great though. The department and college libraries are top-notch. You need separate memberships for both libraries.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good. Sometimes I struggle when they speak Marathi, but they make an effort to use English when talking to us. They're also super friendly. The semester exams are kind of challenging, but not too hard.
Placement: I studied civil engineering, and there weren't a lot of private job opportunities. But if you manage to get a job, it's awesome. The salary they offer is around 12 lakh per year. Companies like DLF, Larsen & Toubro, and Reliance come for placements. If you do well in college, chances are you'll get placed easily.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is good, but not super strong. The labs are in good shape and have all the stuff you need. The library is a nice spot to study. The food in the mess is awesome for first and second-year students. And there's a fun annual event and sports festival too.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. Sometimes the content can be a bit off, but overall it's pretty good. You're always around super smart people. The semesters can be tough, but not impossible. To get in, you can take the MHT CET or JEE Main exams.
Placement: Lots of students got jobs after graduation, around 73%. The pay packages varied a lot. The highest was 50.50 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and most were around 10-13 LPA. COEP has some big companies coming to recruit, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and more. They also had visits from Microsoft, Amazon, and other cool places. Some well-known names that hire from COEP are Nvidia, Bajaj Auto Ltd, Tata Motors, and Tata Elxsi. In 2020-21, companies like Standard Chartered, Arcesium India, D.E. Shaw, and Citi India were on campus for recruitment.
Campus: There's so much to do here food, sports, games, you name it. Plenty of clubs to join, and they've got all the gear you need. We've got around 7-10 sports clubs, which is awesome for trying new things. And let's not forget about the boating club not every school has one, but COEP does. Great place for fun and trying new stuff!

Admission: The exams in this college are not too hard. They split them into mid-terms and end-terms. You need a 6.0 CGPA to pass, but they grade on a curve. The courses cover useful stuff and there are field trips to give you real-world skills. The teachers know their stuff too, lots of them have Ph.Ds.
Placement: In my Electrical Engineering department, the job placements are pretty good compared to other colleges. We had big companies like Caterpillar, Reliance, Texas Instruments, Deloitte, Tata, Ion, Bajaj, and more coming for recruitment. The best offer was from TI with a 36 Lacs CTC for a Sales and Analog Engineer role.
Campus: The classrooms are awesome, big and comfy. The labs have cool instruments too. The library has a lot of books to choose from. Wi-Fi is a bit of a headache, especially in the hostel and on campus. Food in the mess and canteen is tasty. But the food at the North Campus canteen is not so great. The college has a really strong sports scene.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty good, but some can be a bit rude and strict. The professors really know their stuff. The semester exams are challenging, but if you study for a couple of hours every day, they're not too bad. The course material is a little outdated, though.
Placement: I'm studying B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication at COEP. Last year, about 80% of students got placed, some even started their own businesses. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Mastercard, and Paytm hire here. Not everyone gets a paid internship by the fourth year. The main job roles are electronic design engineer and telecommunication engineer.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is kinda old and just okay. They need to work on upgrading it a bit. There are lots of facilities in the hostel and college, but the buildings could use some improvements. COEP has a bunch of sports games to play, so it's a cool spot for athletes. They really emphasize both academics and sports here.

Admission: The teachers here are super experienced and helpful. They really know their stuff. They explain things clearly, so everyone can follow along. The course material is spot-on and prepares us well for the real world. Each topic is taught thoroughly, so we're ready for anything.
Placement: I'm a first-year student and I've heard from older students that our college has great placements. The placement cell is really helpful too. People who've been here longer say we get top placements. Around 75% of students get jobs every year.
Campus: Each department has its own building with really cool architecture. Wi-Fi is everywhere. The library has tons of books. The hostel is a bit of a hike from the college, but there's one for girls and another for boys. Our hostel is top-notch - they clean the rooms weekly. And we get free access to medical, gym, laundry, and more.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff, but the way they teach is just okay. The semester exams are not too hard. If you don't do well, you can retake them. The stuff we learn is related to what we're studying, but I'm not sure if it's enough to get us ready for the real world. I'm still in my first year, so I'll have to wait and see.
Placement: In 2024, most ENTC students got placed, with over 80%. The average salary is around 13 LPA, which is pretty good. I'm not sure about the lowest salary, but the highest one in ENTC is 28.42 LPA. The top package is in manufacturing, at 87 LPA. There are lots of companies that visit our college for placements.
Campus: The labs here are cool, but the Wi-Fi is pretty slow. The library and classrooms are fine. The hostels could use some upgrades because they're not great. The food in the canteen is just okay. They do have a sports ground, which is nice. You can get medical help if you need it. The Wi-Fi in the hostel works on and off. The bathrooms are alright and get cleaned daily. Oh, and there's a water cooler too.

Admission: The teachers here are super qualified, most of them have Ph.Ds. They're great at teaching, but there are a couple who aren't the best. Even though they know their stuff. Biology and Geography can be a bit boring, along with Energy Liberal Code. Almost everyone passes with flying colors, but a few students might not make it sometimes.
Placement: I'm a first-year student, so I'm still learning about placements. Seniors told me that lots of big companies like Google, Microsoft, John Deere come to our college for placements. There are even international placements available. The highest placement last year or this year was around 87 LPA for the Instrumentation branch. There are many cool offers to look forward to, even from the first year.
Campus: I can't speak for other hostels, but the one I live in is okay. People say the food in the mess makes a big difference. I tried it myself, and it's not bad. The rooms are just average. Some rooms have bunk beds, and the downside is that each block shares a common washroom no private ones.

Admission: The exams used to be different before, but now we have midsem and endsem exams. The papers are pretty hard and not like the previous year's questions. You gotta work hard to pass. The course content has been updated to keep up with new stuff. The teachers know their stuff and are helpful. There are lots of events like fests, hackathons, and competitions happening on campus.
Placement: Lots of top companies like DESHAW, Bajaj, and Citi visit our college for placements. Getting a CS job here is pretty much guaranteed. This year, the internships have ranged from 30K to 1.5 Lakh. The placement officer and teachers are super supportive and work hard to help us out.
Campus: The girls' mess and hostel here are great. The mess serves sweets daily, and the snacks are tasty too. Wi-Fi is reliable. The hostel even has a separate study space. We've got a huge sports ground for everyone, with a few more fields for different sports. Plus, there are courts for badminton and table tennis. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

Admission: Most of the teachers here are really nice and helpful. They know their stuff well. Some teachers are super good at teaching. But some subjects in the first year, like history, Biology, and EDG, don't seem useful for CS students. The exams are pretty tough for me. You need at least 40% to pass.
Placement: Almost everyone in the CSE branch got a job. The highest salary was 17 Lacs, the lowest was 6 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. Big companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and TCS came for recruitment. Many students interned at JP Morgan. They mostly start as Junior software developers after graduating.
Campus: COEP has great facilities that make me happy. The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere, big classrooms for 100 students, a library with lots of books, and everything is clean. The hostel gives us Wi-Fi, a bed, a fan, a bathroom, and keeps everything clean. The food in the mess is good too. We also do sports as part of our studies.
