The gap between the institute and the corporate world is filled by the DAVC placement Cell facilitating final placements and internships. The college attracts recruiters from diverse sectors, providing job opportunities for its students and deserving candidates through job fairs.

The training program at DAVC is designed to go beyond the stereotypical curriculum to get our students in- line with industry expectations. A very rigorous training programme is instituted by industry experts who advise, train and mentor the students to achieve their goals. Students are put through a series of workshops, guest lectures, seminars and simulation exercises to become ready for the ever changing corporate landscape.

There is a special placement Cell which organizes placement selection for various companies, organizations and institutes and provides guidance to the students for different competitive exams. The experts in the team also train the students in communication skills, group discussion as well as interviews for their placements.

Placement process

The placement office will interact, establish connections, and communicate with possible employers. In order to be placed on campus, students must register.

The placement office verifies the student's registration, takes part in pre-placement company visits, and trains and grooms the students in order to improve their placements.

Invite prospective employers to the institute so they may obtain pertinent information about the final placements. React to the desire to participate shown by recruiters.

When communicating the dates for each recruiter's campus visit, the placement team takes into account several aspects such as job profiles, student preferences, and so on.

It is recommended that companies hold pre-placement discussions with candidates prior to initiating the recruiting process.

The employers carry out rounds of the selection procedure and notify the placement department of the names of the chosen pupils.

Placement rules

  • In order for the student to participate in the placement process, they must meet all of the requirements listed below.
  • In order to provide other applicants with an equal opportunity of placement, a student who receives one final placement offer will be required to withdraw from the placement process.
  • Prior to the commencement of the Final Placement Process, students who choose to choose their own placement should make their statement. They would be considered to have chosen not to participate in the placement process.
  • The Placement Office should be the first point of contact for any Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). A copy of the offer letter should be turned in to the Placement Office by students who accept the PPOs. These pupils will be regarded as placed.
  • Students will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses if they need to travel for interviews.
