Admission: Overall, my admission at DAV College was simple, the online portal worked well, merit list communication was clear, document verification went smoothly, and the orientation session helped settle in.

Academic: About our college, the exams are mostly moderate. Plus, most questions often repeat from old papers, so doing PYQs is super important if you want to pass. The pass percentage is around 33%, I think. Our teachers are very good and supportive. However, I feel the curriculum could be better, as it doesn't fully prepare us for the industry, so we definitely need to learn extra skills.

Placement: Regarding placements in our college, Bachelor of Arts students don't really get any direct placements. But for other courses, placements are available, and big companies like Samsung, Apple, and Apollo come to recruit. Also, our college provides internships to help students upskill themselves, especially for those from the psychology department.

Campus: From my experience, the hostel facilities here are really good. We have separate hostels right on campus, and the rooms are well-furnished with each having a balcony. There's even a beauty parlor in the hostel building. For studies, our college library is three floors big and it's nice. Inside, there are computer corners with like 20 computers for us to use. Classrooms are tidy and airy, which is comfortable. Also, we get internet access all over campus and projectors in classrooms.

Admission: Admission at DAV College felt organised as the online form was simple, document verification after the merit list was smooth, counselling staff were helpful, and communication stayed clear throughout.

Academic: Our teachers are quite good, especially if you are serious and cooperate with them. Honestly, they just want students to come to class regularly, and that's mostly what they ask for. The exams here are also not very hard. We have mid-semester tests first, and then the main final exams.

Placement: My seniors have already gotten placed, even though I am still studying here. They didn't just get jobs by passing their exams. What really helped them was finding their ambitions through different college clubs, which played a big role in their placements.

Campus: What I really like is the overall vibe here, it's super chill. And there are so many spots on campus where we can just relax. The hostel life is pretty interesting and it doesn't cost too much, which is great. Okay, so the buildings are a bit old and simple, but seriously, the canteen food? It's just fabulous.

Admission: Entry into DAV College was smooth with an easy online application, efficient document verification after the merit list, good staff support during registration, and clear communication for provisional admission and fees.

Academic: The teachers here are really great and experienced. They are very responsible, super helpful, and always ready to support students with anything. The way they teach is seriously the best, and their methods are top-notch. These teachers do a lot for us, helping us in every possible way to build a better future for our nation.

Placement: For my specific course, there are no placements available. However, the college overall has many placements and is tied up with lots of companies for other courses. You can find all the details about these placements on the college website as I don't have enough information myself. It's also a good idea to contact college officials or even talk to students from different courses who got placed to know more.

Campus: In our college, we have a hostel, a good canteen, and proper labs available for all students. The food quality here is quite good, people generally like it. Talking about benches, some are not in the best shape and even have small nails, but still, they are clean and safe to sit on. A cool thing is that the Yograj Cricket Academy is also right here in the college. And guess what, many big sports stars like Neeraj Chopra, Kapil Dev, Yuvraj Singh, and Manu Bhakhar are alumni from this very college.

Admission: Support from the admission office made joining DAVC easy, with clear eligibility information, organised registration steps, timely updates, and smooth final enrolment.

Academic: At our college, the teachers are super qualified and always ready to help us out. All the staff members really know their stuff, they are like experts in what they teach. Our course curriculum is very relevant, covering subjects like marketing, law, accounting, and economics. For exams, we have mid-semester tests first, then the final exams which Panjab University takes.

Placement: From what I've seen, placements at our college are pretty good. About 70-80 percent of students usually get placed through the college. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Infotech, Tata, and Mahindra come to hire us for jobs. The average salary package here is around 3.5 to 4 LPA. Plus, most of the students also get a chance to do internships which is helpful. After our course, we can get jobs as marketing and sales executives or even in banking, and other similar roles too.

Campus: Our college is quite known for sports, actually. Many big sports players have studied here before. We also have good medical facilities, with an ambulance always ready on campus. Now, talking about the infrastructure, it's just average in my opinion. The classrooms are clean, but they could use some upgrades. Hostel students get Wi-Fi access, and the food they get is okay, not great. We do have a decent library, and the best part is it's air-conditioned.

Admission: Interaction at DAV College during admission was mostly smooth, though the first ID card related interaction felt unwelcoming, which stood out after an otherwise organised selection process.

Academic: What I like about our college is the teachers. They are super qualified and always supportive, ready to help us. They really give their best to teach everything and always tell us to attend classes daily. Now, coming to our course, the curriculum isn't really up to date. We have to learn new skills on our own if we want to be ready for the industry. For exams, the mid-semester ones are usually easy to medium. They don't affect our final CGPA much. But the final semester exams, with all the practicals and assignments, are very important, though their difficulty level stays pretty much the same.

Placement: DAV College Chandigarh is pretty famous for its undergraduate courses. A lot of students who join here actually dont look for campus placements. Instead, they go for MCA or just work in their family businesses. For those who do seek jobs, last year, some got packages like 11 LPA, and many others got 6 LPA. Two students even got huge offers of 23 LPA. But all these really good packages were from off-campus drives. Our college does have a placement cell, but from there, you can mostly expect a maximum of 6 LPA.

Campus: Our college has a really good library called Lal Chand Library, it has many floors and different parts. For food and drinks, we have two canteens, plus two coffee spots and juice corners. The teachers here are super supportive, they really give their all to teach us and help with anything if we ask. Also, the college has Wi-Fi and smart classrooms, but these smart classes are only for a few specific courses.

Admission: Selection into DAVC was stress free as the merit list was released on time, counselling guidance was clear, document verification was efficient, and registration did not take long.

Academic: Exams at our college are handled really well, everything is proper. I generally like my college a lot, but some things could be better. For example, they really need to put air conditioners because right now there are none. Also, till now, I haven't seen any placements happening in this college. Our college comes under Punjab University, but I don't know much about PU itself.

Placement: I really like coming to this college, but there are a few things that could be better. For example, they should definitely add air conditioners; it would make studying much more comfortable. About placements, it's not looking good at all. Honestly, I haven't seen any students get placed from our college so far. Our college is under Punjab University, but I don't know what the placement situation is like at the main university level.

Campus: What I really like about this college is that it feels like the best one I've seen so far, and I genuinely enjoy coming here every day. The infrastructure at our college is good, and even the food served in the canteen is nice. I haven't stayed in the hostels so I don't know much about them, but I can say for sure that the SCA council works hard and tries its best to keep everything running smoothly. A small suggestion would be that they could improve things by putting in some air conditioners.

Admission: After checking the merit list, the admission process felt organised, document verification was smooth, staff answered queries patiently, online counselling registration was easy, and provisional admission did not feel stressful.

Academic: About our studies here, the curriculum is very relevant to what we need. The teachers are super helpful and the quality of their teaching is top-notch. It's great because all our teachers have Masters and even PhDs in their fields. We have a total of 9 subjects, and four of these subjects are fully focused on education.

Placement: For the 8th semester, we mostly do internships at schools. In this semester, there are no exams, only practical work. The thing is, whether we continue there or not, it depends on the school principal's decision. Students also need to make sure they clear the CTET exam.

Campus: Our canteen food is always checked by professionals before they serve it to students. The rooms here are really good, with proper lights, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. If you don't prefer going to a government college, this department is a nice choice. Also, we have medical facilities and sports facilities, and a sports day gets celebrated every year too.

Admission: Process wise, admission at DAVC was clear and manageable, merit list access was easy, verification was efficient, staff guided each step, and important dates were communicated on time.

Academic: Our teachers here are really good, like super educated and they know a lot. They always help students whenever we need them. But man, the library staff really has very poor behavior. I remember when I first got admission, I went to the library to pick up my ID card. The staff there was so rude to me. They just like, told me off, saying "didn't you read the board outside? Your ID card is not even here, so why did you come?" That kind of behavior was just really bad, you know.

Placement: At Dav College, Sector 10, Chandigarh, they do offer placement opportunities for our courses. But to be honest, there aren't really good chances for placements here. This is because the college doesn't actually provide a lot of placement opportunities. That's why I am giving it a two-star rating only.

Campus: Hostel life at our college is pretty good. We have separate buildings for boys and girls, and even the mess facilities are different for each. A big plus point is that Wi-Fi is now available in the hostels. This facility was actually provided by the college because our student council asked for it. The student council members involved are President Lavish Sherawat, Vice President Mrinal Steta, General Secretary Sourav Panwar, and Joint Secretary Yaima Oiman.

Admission: Journey to joining DAVC was smooth, the registration portal was easy to use, digital document submission saved time, counselling sessions were clear, and staff support made the process efficient.

Academic: In our college, the teachers are really good and their teaching quality is also excellent. They are very supportive with everything. The exams here are not very hard; you just need to study for like one week for each subject. But honestly, the course does not make students ready for real jobs. I am already working, so I know this from my own experience.

Placement: About placements here, companies like Concentric visit our college, but the highest salary offered is just 3 LPA. For me, this degree doesnt feel like good value for money. Students put in a lot of money and three years of their time, only to get a salary similar to someone who just finished 12th standard. Personally, I've been working since my first semester and already get paid more than what someone with just a 12th-grade education would earn.

Campus: I don't live in the hostel so I can't tell you anything about that. But the college buildings are not good. The desks are really uncomfortable, and Wi-Fi is not available for everyone to use. You'll see some rooms even have holes in the walls and ceilings. Also, for sports, it took them three whole years just to replace the basketball court. The only good thing here is the library, it's pretty decent.

Admission: While going through the admission process, everything from online registration to document verification felt well managed, timelines were clearly shared, staff were supportive, and the entire experience was hassle free.

Academic: In my college, the teachers are really good at teaching and they explain everything very clearly. The course here helps students get ready for jobs in the industry. Semesters are not too hard actually, and you only need 33% to pass. So if you just focus a bit on your studies and also enjoy, you can pass easily.

Placement: From my experience at DAV Chandigarh, more than 50% of students who finished 12th grade actually get placed. The salary packages depend on the company that hires them. Generally, the lowest monthly salary is around Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000. But the highest can go really good, like Rs.50,000 to Rs.80,000 per month. Top companies in food processing, like Verka and Amul, come for placements. Also, around 5-10% of students get internships. These are in big food processing companies too, like Amul, Verka, Maggi, and Britannia. They offer roles such as food management official, food survey official, or even food-making chiefs, along with other jobs related to food.

Campus: The hostel life here is pretty good, and the food they serve is nice too. Our canteen is also clean and hygienic, which is a plus. For Food Science and Technology, the college gives us everything we need to study. All the stuff for experiments is easily available. Sports and games are just average here, and frankly, the college management doesn't push for them much.
