Admission: I found that some teachers were really helpful, while others weren't as much. The ones who taught well also gave good guidance. The course curriculum was relevant, but it didn't fully prepare us for the industry. The semester exams were okay, but some teachers made them tough. Overall, I'd say it's just average.

Placement: Most students in our course found jobs, around 90%. But many of them got salaries under 10 LPA. Some didn't get placed and decided to do further studies, such as MBA or M.Tech. The most common job offered is software engineer.

Campus: The hostels are okay, not amazing but not terrible either. Each block and floor have Wi-Fi, which is great. There's a reading room, but we also have a library in the college building. The food is just average. They have a gym and doctors available on campus. The doctors are only there from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM every day.

Admission: I really like the professors at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. Some of them are super helpful and friendly, while others struggle to explain things well. The courses are interesting and the exams are manageable; not too hard to pass. Overall, it's a good place to study.

Placement: The placements at my college, Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar, are pretty good. The highest salary offered is 39 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. Almost all students, about 94 percent, get placed, which is awesome. Big companies like Google, Amazon, Oracle, Swiggy, and Zomato visit for hiring. But only around 30-35 percent of students get internships, which could be better.

Campus: The academic buildings and library are really nice. They have Wi-Fi and smart boards in classrooms and computer labs. But the hostels need improvement. There's only two one for guys and one for girls. The food in the canteens is way better than the mess. And there's medical help on campus too.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good most of them are from IITs. The curriculum is updated and they offer a bunch of electives that are useful in the industry. The semester exams are fair and not too hard to pass.

Placement: All the students from my batch in 2023 got placed, and the placements for the next batch in 2024 are happening now. There were over 40 companies that came to campus for 350 of us. The lowest salary offered was 6 Lacs, while the highest was 39 Lacs by Media.Net. Big companies like Oracle and Siemens also recruit from our college. On average, IT students get 9lpa and electronics students get 7.5lpa.

Campus: The library has all the books we need. The food in the mess isn't great, and there aren't many choices. We have awesome fests and good sports facilities. There's a gym and a clinic on campus. The Wi-Fi here is fast, around 100 mbps on average.

Admission: The teaching here is top-notch. The professors are super qualified, with PhDs from top colleges like IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is spot-on, preparing us well for the industry. Exams can be tough, but some are more manageable. Overall, the academics are solid.

Placement: Most students in our course got placed in various companies around 85%. The highest salary offered was 25 LPA, while the lowest was 8 LPA. On average, students landed jobs at 10 LPA in 2024. Companies like Qualcomm and Oracle are top recruiters for our course. And around half of us scored internships at DE Shaw and Big Binary.

Campus: Our course is mostly hands-on with a lot of labs available every semester. It's great to get practical experience and really understand the topics. The digital classrooms make learning easier too.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty qualified and know their stuff, but they struggle to teach us well. Some are really good, especially those Ph.D. scholars. The curriculum is okay if you want to work in tech from the 2000s. The workload is heavy, guidance is lacking, and most mentors are MIA. Seniors are our best bet for help. It's tough to be job-ready with all this pressure on irrelevant stuff. The exams are standard, but some questions feel off. Grading can be harsh, and getting good marks is a challenge. Passing isn't too hard, but keeping a high GPA is tough.

Placement: In the last semester, the highest package for Computer Engineering was 26.5 LPA, and for CSE, it was 19 LPA. I heard a rumor that someone got 59 LPA in the 8th semester from CSE. Out of about 350 students, around 140 got placed in the 7th semester. Oracle has been the top recruiter here for a while now.

Campus: The hostel is okay; it's cleaned daily by the staff, but how clean your room stays depends on you. Wi-Fi in the old hostel is decent, but in the new one, it's pretty bad. You usually have to get your own, and sometimes they might cut it off for a few days. The new hostel is really clean, including the rooms. Medical help is available from 5 PM to 7 PM, and a gynecologist visits once a week. The nearest hospital is about 4.5 kilometers away. The campus offers sports like cricket, football, badminton, tennis, and basketball, but you might need to bring your own gear. Classrooms were supposed to be air-conditioned, but most aren't. It can get hot in the humid summers of Bhubaneswar. Wi-Fi in the classrooms varies based on where you are. The canteen serves okay food, but the mess is the worst. Sometimes there are insects in the food, and the chairs are not great. They're talking about making it better next year, though. The library is good for academic stuff, but if you want literature or other topics, you'll need to look elsewhere.

Admission: The teachers are nice and they grade exams tough. They don't give out high GPAs easily. A lot of students don't do well and end up with many backlogs by the third year. The courses are old-school but the college events are awesome thanks to the student groups.

Placement: The job opportunities for computer engineering students are okay. Some students find jobs on campus while others have to look off-campus. Around 65% of students find jobs before they graduate. It's better than lower-ranked colleges but not as good as IITs/NITs. The highest salary offered is 80 LPA, while the lowest is 5 LPA. Companies like Oracle, Dell, IBM, HDPS, Infosys, and more come to hire students.

Campus: The college infrastructure is okay. Don't expect too much from a government college. Seniors are helpful if you ask for help. Wi-Fi works well 24/7 with good speed. Each floor has routers. The library is not that great. It mostly has books related to our subjects. Unlike some colleges, it's closed on weekends and shuts at 8 PM. All labs are there and in good condition. There's a college store, a Nescafe, and a mess for hostellers on campus. Hostels are on the 1st and 2nd floors. The food is alright for the price. The classrooms are big and good.

Admission: I really like how the semester exams are set up. They're pretty easy if you go to class regularly. The course content for all the different majors is good. It covers all the subjects you need for each semester. The only downside is that the fees are a bit on the high side.

Placement: I heard that over 80% of students found jobs in different companies. One 3rd-year student even landed an internship paying 2 Lakhs per month! The placements are pretty good if you have the skills. The college offers decent placement opportunities.

Campus: The Wi-Fi here is great! The laundry and food facilities are good too. This college is better than most. The sports facilities are okay. The only downside is that we have just one field for both football and cricket, which can be a bit tricky.

Admission: The teachers at our college are super helpful, but there are a few who could be better. The curriculum really gets us ready for the industry. The semester exams are pretty tough with tricky questions, but they're fair. You need to get at least 35 out of 100 to pass, so make sure you study hard!

Placement: Most students in our college get good jobs after graduation. The highest salary is around 38 Lacs per year, while the lowest is about 12 Lacs. Companies like Microsoft, Dell, and others come to our college to hire students.

Campus: The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are well-structured and nice. The Wi-Fi is usually good, but sometimes there are issues. The hostel rooms are okay, but the food in the mess isn't great.

Admission: The teachers are all experts with PhDs. They know their stuff, but we need to put in effort too for the best results. The courses have specific study plans that focus on the subjects. This helps us get ready for the job market. The exams in each semester are pretty tough.

Placement: Around 70% of students find jobs after college, with about 40% getting placed on campus. The rest land good off-campus gigs. The average salary is 7 LPA, with top companies like DE Shaw, Informatica, and Oracle hiring students.

Campus: The campus is pretty big, covering 23 acres. They've got all the facilities you need right here. Each subject has its own lab, but the Chemistry labs and workshops could be better, like a 3 out of 5. Wi-Fi works everywhere on campus, and the classrooms are nice with projectors in each one.

Admission: The course got a new curriculum in 2024 because of the New Education policy. Some teachers are great, but some aren't very helpful. The midterm test was okay, but the final one was harder. There are 60 students for each teacher. Many teachers studied at NITs, IITs, or other Odisha colleges.

Placement: As I'm finishing up my 6th semester and gearing up for the 7th, I've started thinking about campus placements. There are around 30 to 40 big companies like Oracle, Dell, and Adobe that come for recruitment. But for us EEE students, it can be tough to land good jobs. The highest job offer on campus is around 35 LPA with an average of 7 LPA. It's cool to see that 80% of students manage to secure jobs in top companies. It's really inspiring to see everyone doing so well!

Campus: The classrooms and buildings are kept nice and clean, and the Wi-Fi works great everywhere on campus. The classrooms don't have AC, but the labs and reading rooms do. The hostel is really nice. The rooms are big, bathrooms are clean, and they even clean them every day. They offer free laundry services, which is a big time-saver. Plus, there's a gym on site. The food in the mess is good, but sometimes there are some not-so-great meals. The canteen always has tasty food though.
