The MBA Class of 2025 at IIM Shillong achieved 100% final placements, with all 382 students securing roles across diverse domains. The IIM Shillong placement drive observed participation from 141 recruiters, including 54 new companies.

For the year 2023-2025, the highest package reached INR 71.5 LPA, while the IIM Shillong MBA average package stood at INR 26.44 LPA. The top 10% of the batch did especially well, landing an average package of INR 41.13 LPA.

A total of 75 PPO/PPI offers were rolled out, with leading recruiters such as Bain & Company, Accenture Strategy, Deloitte USI, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, ICICI Bank, and Tata Steel making key offers.

IIM Shillong maintained a 100% placement rate for both the 2023–25 and 2022–24 batches. The latest batch had 382 students and attracted 141 recruiters, including 54 new ones, compared to 87 recruiters and 46 new ones last year.

This year, 75 students received PPO/PPI offers, slightly fewer than the 87 offers made previously. The highest package remained steady at INR 71.5 LPA, while the average rose somewhat to INR 26.44 LPA from INR 26.10 LPA. The median stood at INR 25.00 LPA, marginally lower than last year’s INR 25.67 LPA.

For top performers, the IIM Shillong average package for the top 20% was INR 38.53 LPA, and for the top 50%, it was INR 32.23 LPA. Consulting, BFSI, IT & Analytics, and HR were key sectors this year. Major recruiters included Synergy Consulting, Tata Steel, Tiger Analytics, TVS Motors, and Flipkart. At the same time, the previous year saw firms like Bain & Company, Axis Bank, and Capgemini hiring in significant numbers.

IIM Shillong’s PGP summer placements for the 2024–26 batch achieved a 100% placement rate, with all 395 students placed. A total of 102 recruiters participated, including 30 new recruiters. The highest stipend offered was INR 4.60 lakh, with an average of INR 1.91 lakh and a median of INR 1.80 lakh. The top 10% of students received an average stipend of INR 4.06 lakh.
