Admission: Admission into IIT Indore followed a detailed yet well-structured path. JoSAA counselling was clear, online document verification before physical reporting was efficient, helpdesk responses were quick, and registration with orientation sessions ran smoothly.

Academic: Teachers are really good here. Most of them have done their Ph.D. and know a lot about their subjects. They teach very well, and also, they are super helpful whenever we need them. For our course, the syllabus has both the main core subjects and some extra elective courses. The semester exams are quite hard, but somehow, the pass percentage is still good.

Placement: Right now, for us Chemical Engineering students at IIT Indore, we are the very first batch. Because we're only in our B.Tech 3rd semester, there are no placements available yet. We are really focusing on getting internships, especially for the upcoming 5th semester.

Campus: Our IIT Indore campus has about five or six hostels, like CVR, VSB DA, and HJB. There are also five practical buildings for our studies. Wi-Fi works everywhere on campus, which is really helpful. The mess food quality is quite good here. Plus, the college has its own health center and a proper sports complex.

Admission: The JoSAA counselling process for IIT Indore was very streamlined. After seat allotment, document verification was efficiently handled online. Information for registration and the initial orientation sessions was provided well in advance. Overall, my joining experience was well-coordinated and transparent.

Academic: A semester in our college lasts for 4 months. We have exams like mid-terms or end-terms every two months. Our teachers are really good and know a lot of things. They always make sure to teach the students properly. The study curriculum here is very similar to IIT Bombay, and it's designed so that we can achieve high ranks in the IIT rankings.

Placement: College offers really good placement opportunities, and we also have a very good placement cell. Many students, more than 50%, actually get internships here. The highest salary package was 60 LPA, with an average of 30 LPA, and even the lowest was 4 LPA. Everyone also gets proper guidance from the college.

Campus: The whole institute is always connected with Wi-Fi, which is super helpful. We have these buildings called 'pods', and that's where all our labs are located, built really well and finely. Plus, there is a big library too, named the Learning Resource Center.

Admission: Experience at IIT Indore during admission was surprisingly smooth. From initial counselling rounds to final document verification, everything was clearly explained, staff guided registration well, timelines were communicated properly, and the overall journey felt stress-free.

Academic: Course here is really good because it's industry-relevant, just like IITs. Our teachers are super helpful and qualified. They know so much and are really passionate about teaching. I feel the teaching quality has improved a lot. Even the semester exams are designed to match how much students can handle, which is fair.

Placement: Our students are actually getting some cool internships, even abroad in places like the USA and China, and other off-campus locations too. Plus, for research internships, our professors are mostly the ones who hook us up. But since this is our very first batch, we dont really have placement stats yet. No companies have come for recruitment on campus, so it is tough to say anything about that right now.

Campus: Our classrooms are quite high-tech, just like an IIT, and we get good Wi-Fi all over the campus. We also have proper labs and smart boards, which really helps with studies. Teachers share all the study slides well with us. About the hostel, it's double sharing and the quality is very good, with two proper beds in each room. Also, the sports facilities have improved a lot recently.

Admission: Journey of applying to IIT Indore felt very organized. Online registration instructions were clear, the help desk responded quickly to technical issues, document submission guidelines were detailed, and the initial orientation explained upcoming procedures well.

Academic: About our studies, I can say the course curriculum here is really good and teaches many relevant things. Our teachers are experienced, but you also need to put in your own effort to study. Semester exams are quite difficult, but since it's relative grading, you don't have to worry much about failing. Also, the pass percentage is actually very high. We even get opportunities to go on industrial trips sometimes.

Placement: Our college has really good placements, almost 92 percent of students find jobs. The highest salary someone got was 60 LPA, the average is around 25 LPA, and even the lowest package is about 8 LPA. Many big companies like Amazon, Oracle, Microsoft, BHEL, Cisco, and Accenture visit our campus. Plus, we get chances for internships in our third year itself, with nearly 80 percent of students getting them. Those same companies that come for placements also take us as interns. The jobs offered are mostly in VLSI and software fields.

Campus: Our hostel life is pretty good, though the Wi-Fi is a bit weak. Most students get double-sharing rooms, but senior students in 3rd and 4th year get single rooms. We all live in a 4 BHK unit, and each unit has its own washrooms inside. For studying, the self-study center is open all the time, 24/7, even when the library is closed on holidays. The food is okay, not bad, but don't expect it to be super awesome.

Admission: Experience of applying to IIT Indore was smooth. JoSAA counselling and seat allocation were clear, campus document verification communication was timely, registration desks were organized, and staff support eased onboarding and orientation.

Academic: About the professors here, they're all super qualified. Most of them have done their Ph.Ds from IITs. But yeah, they are a bit old-school and really strict. The college curriculum is good though, it's relevant and makes us ready for jobs. The semesters are pretty hard, so students have to work a lot. Because of this, many students fail some papers in the exams.

Placement: Lots of PSUs and tech companies come to our college for recruitment drives. The average salary package for students in our course is around 10 LPA, which is pretty decent. We've seen the highest package touch 18 LPA, and the minimum is usually 5 to 6 LPA. Roughly 80% of students from our batch manage to get placed. One small issue is that getting internship chances in our branch is a bit less compared to other departments.

Campus: The infrastructure here is top-notch, like the heart of the college. Our hostels are really good and they keep them super clean. We have Wi-Fi available all over the campus. Classrooms and the library are full of modern technology too. Medical facilities are good here, and for sports, they are okay right now but they're getting better. The mess food is actually never bad, it's usually good or sometimes just average.

Admission: Completion of IIT Indore admission after JEE Advanced was hassle-free. JoSAA counselling steps were outlined clearly, document verification and fee payment were efficient, and administrative staff supported final registration well.

Academic: The course curriculum here is really good, it makes sure every student is ready for their own field. Our teachers are super qualified and they teach everything properly. For semester exams, they are moderate, just like what you find in other engineering colleges. Also, each branch has its own unique and good way of learning.

Placement: Most students from our course get internships by the end of their third year, though I don't know the exact percentage of students. For placements, nearly 95% of our course gets placed. The top salary someone got was 60 LPA, with an average of 32 LPA, and the minimum salary was 4 LPA. The main roles offered for our course are in areas like AI, ML, web development, or CP.

Campus: In our campus students and teachers both get 24-hour Wi-Fi. The labs and library are super good, probably the best. Actually, all the facilities they provide are top level and well-maintained. The food in the canteen is just okay, like average. If you need any medical help, that's available for students too. Plus, everyone here is really into sports and games.

Admission: Sequence of admission steps at IIT Indore worked well. Starting with JEE counselling, online registration and document verification were well-managed, staff addressed queries properly, updates were timely, and orientation was clear and useful.

Academic: Our professors at IIT Indore are really good, and most of them finished their Masters from big foreign universities. Earlier, the teaching style was a bit old, but since 2023, courses follow the new education policy. This means we get more hands-on learning and become job-ready. Semester exams are not very hard, they're just moderate level. You can score good marks if you study smart. Also, the passing rules are different for each subject, sometimes it's relative grading and sometimes it's absolute.

Placement: This year, like many other good colleges, our placements also saw a bit of a dip. For example, Mechanical Engineering had a placement rate of around 70%, which is lower than the 88% we saw last year. Even with this, the highest package went up to 50 LPA, and the lowest was around 12 LPA. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, DE Shaw, and even PSUs came for recruitment. If you are in CSE or EE, internship opportunities are good, but for other core branches, they are not as many. Most people get SDE or other technical jobs here.

Campus: At IIT Indore, the infrastructure is really good since it's a second-generation IIT. The hostels are awesome here. First-year students get double rooms, and then from the second year onwards, everyone gets their own single room. For sports, there are good facilities like a cricket ground, a football ground, badminton and squash courts, a volleyball court, a swimming pool, and a well-equipped gym. The mess food is usually good, though sometimes you might miss Mumbai food.

Admission: Progress of my IIT Indore admission after JEE Advanced was smooth. The JoSAA portal streamlined registration and choice filling, seat allocation was prompt, campus verification was efficiently handled, and formal communication remained clear.

Academic: My department has really good teachers. All of them finished their studies from really good colleges and are also doing good research work. The course syllabus is okay, it follows all the rules, and it's kind of useful for us. Semester exams are a bit tough, but if we study just one week before, we can handle them.

Placement: The placements at our college are quite impressive. Almost 90% of the students secure good jobs. The salary packages are also great; the highest went up to 67 LPA, while the lowest was around 6 to 7 LPA. On average, for all B.Tech students, the package stands at about 18 to 19 LPA. Many top companies like Oracle, DeShaw, Nvidia, Google, Quadeye, Goldman Sachs, AMD, Texas Instruments, and Salesforce come to hire from here. Plus, a good number of students also got internships.

Campus: At IIT Indore, our college has really good facilities and all. The labs here are kept well and get enough funding. You can find Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, the college gives it. Our classrooms have digital screens and AC, which makes them super comfortable.

Admission: Timeline from counselling to joining at IIT Indore was smooth. After the merit list, online document verification worked efficiently, registration steps were clearly communicated, staff helped during fee payment, and orientation sessions eased settling in.

Academic: The academic part here is really good. Our teachers are super experienced and they know their stuff well. They are always ready to help students with their studies, which is great. The classes and presentations they give are planned out nicely and help us a lot. I'm in the CSE branch, and from what my friends tell me, other branches are also good. The college uses the latest study plan set by the government. Also, there are many clubs that help you grow and compete.

Placement: Seniors say that students can apply for internships when they are in their 6th semester. Then, in the 8th semester, we become eligible for job placements. Some really big companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, and Accenture visit us every year. They give roles in software development and also in core engineering. Last year, the highest salary someone got was 68 LPA for an ADE profile, which is quite good. The average package was around 26 LPA.

Campus: At our college, all the buildings like hostels, mess, lecture halls, and the auditorium are super close to each other, you can easily walk everywhere. I think our campus infrastructure is great, many even say it's the best among all IITs because everything is so modern here. Also, there's a really nice sports complex coming up, it's still under construction. And the best part is, we are hosting an Inter IIT event this year!

Admission: Outcome of admission to IIT Indore was positive. JoSAA counselling and seat allocation communication was timely, on-campus document verification was efficient with supportive staff, registration was simple, and orientation was informative.

Academic: The teachers here are very helpful and have really good qualifications. Because of them, the teaching quality is also quite good. For the first year, our syllabus focused on the basics of engineering, and we learned a lot from it. Each semester has one midterm and one end term exam, and we have two semesters. Since IITs are super competitive, it's always a tough fight. The pass percentage for each subject actually depends on the professor, as they are the ones who decide how exams and quizzes will be conducted.

Placement: For chemical engineering, I am currently in my second year, and there are 38 students in my batch. My branch is quite new, actually, and I am part of its very first batch, so we will get placed in 2027. Many different companies come to our campus for jobs, including new startups, big companies like Google, and government ones such as IOCL. This year, the highest salary package reached about 64 lakhs, and the lowest was around 5 to 6 lakhs, with the average package being different for each specific branch. Even though there is a recession, which made placements a bit low this year, they are still considered good overall. What is great about my chemical engineering course is how diverse it is; we can go into chip companies, beauty product companies, oil companies, steel companies, and many more kinds of industries.

Campus: The infrastructure here is really awesome. Our campus looks so beautiful, it feels refreshing and lively all the time. They made special pods for our labs, which are quite big, including a huge chemical lab. And you know, they keep adding new things to the campus every year. Our hostels are also very good, super comfy to stay in. They have lots of facilities like coolers and big windows so air circulates well. The campus atmosphere is always cool and breezy. We also have really good medical facilities, with a health center and many doctors working there. For sports and fun, there's a dedicated complex that has a swimming pool, gym, and courts for basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, and squash.
