International Management Institute (IMI) Bhubaneswar is a premier business school offering PGDM (full-time and online) and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) courses. The full-time PGDM Program is a two-year program. The applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and valid scores in CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT. The final selection is based on the IMI Bhubaneswar merit list which is made on the basis of entrance exam scores, academic performance, essay writing and GD/personal interview.

 

IMI Bhubaneswar offers an online PGDM program for working professionals which is for 3 years. The admission is done on the basis of academic profile and personal interview.The FPM program is a doctoral level program for candidates having master’s degree with minimum 60% or certain professional qualifications. The selection process includes a Research Aptitude Test, followed by essay writing and personal interview.

The XAT 2026 application form was released on 10th July 2025, and the exam is scheduled to be held on 4th January 2026. Eligible candidates can apply exclusively through online mode, as no offline option is available. The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a university-level entrance exam conducted annually by XLRI Jamshedpur in computer-based (CBT) mode.

IMI Bhubaneswar PGDM (Full-Time) Admission 2025

PGDM is a flagship course at IMI Bhubaneshwar. It is a 2-year postgraduate diploma in management or PGDM program to graduates with an eligibility criterion of 50% marks or graduation in any discipline. Admission will be offered through valid CAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT score. Total fee is INR 14.98 lakh.

The IMI Bhubaneswar PGDM (Online) Course is ideal for working professionals who are seeking to enhance their educational qualification while continuing in their careers.

Candidates are selected for admission based on their overall profile, academic credentials, and performance in the Personal Interview (PI). Candidates who are shortlisted go through the online PI, and the final list of candidates selected is published on the official website of the institute.

 

IMI Bhubaneswar FPM Admission 2025

The FPM (Fellow Programme in Management) at IMI Bhubaneswar is a 4-year doctoral program available for candidates who hold a master’s degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission will be based on scores of CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC NET, CSIR, or NBHM. The full fee of the program can be in the range of INR 10.5 lakh - INR 12.5 lakh.

 

IMI Bhubaneswar Application Process 2025

To apply for admission to IMI Bhubaneswar, a prospective student is required to fill an online application form via the IMI Admission Portal and follow the steps given below:

 

Step 1: Visit the official IMI Admission Portal and register your name with a valid email ID and mobile no.

 

Step 2: Complete the application form with correct details regarding personal, academic, and professional information.

 

Step 3: Upload the required documents such as a recent passport-size photograph, academic result transcripts, entrance examination scorecards (CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT), work experience certificates, if any, and proof of identity.

 

Step 4: A non-refundable application fee of INR 1,250 will be charged for each applicable program at 18% GST, to be paid through net banking, credit card, or debit card.

 

Step 5: Check all the details included, submit the application, and download the copy of confirmation for any future reference.

 

XAT 2026 Registration

  • XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2026 application form on July 10, 2025. The registration can be completed only through online mode—no offline option is available.
  • To begin, candidates must first create XAT login credentials. The registration process is divided into three stages. Once logged in, applicants should fill in the form with personal, contact, and academic details.
  • Candidates must upload correct documents, including a recent photograph and signature, to avoid form rejection.
  • In case of errors, a correction window will be provided for making necessary changes.as there is no offline method provided. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by XLRI,
  • The last date to submit the XAT 2026 application form is likely December 5, 2025. After submission, it is advised to download and keep a printout of the form for future reference during the admission process.
  • Registration fee of XAT 2026 is same for all category candidates.
  • Online facility is available to submit the fee.
  • INR 2,200 is the application fee for all candidates.
  • Online payment gateways such as Debit Cards (Rupay/ Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets) is available.

  • Click on the “Submit” button to move to the payment section.
  • Go to the “Payment” tab and select a suitable online payment method.
