Admission: My admission at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University was surprisingly straightforward. The online application portal worked smoothly, and communication regarding document verification was timely. Staff were helpful during registration, clarifying all doubts. The whole process, from applying to final onboarding, felt organized and efficient.

Academic: Our teachers teach very nicely here. Talking about the exams, they are not always easy or just medium level; sometimes the question papers are hard. You need 35% to pass. Even when we get a tough paper, it's not complicated, we just have to wait for the result then.

Placement: From my experience, the placements here are quite good. Almost 90% of students get jobs, with an average salary of 1.5 LPA. Many top medical hospitals hire our students, and about 70% usually go into private companies. For those who become staff nurses, half of them, around 50%, even get good chances to work in other countries and build a good life for themselves after finishing college. Plus, this college gives us an MGR degree certificate.

Campus: From my experience here, the labs, classrooms, and even the library are all top-notch. Our hostel also has all the basic things we need. Food quality is good, and we get to play many different sports. Hostel students can use their mobile phones easily. The warden and security do their job well, which makes the whole place very peaceful and safe.

Admission: My joining process for the medical university was generally smooth. From submitting the application to the final document verification, everything was well-communicated. The counselling schedule was clear, which helped a lot. The registration window was sufficient, making the entire journey hassle-free.

Academic: From my experience, the teachers here are good and talented, you can learn a lot from them. The course itself is easy if you are actually interested in the subjects. But if you don't find it interesting, then it can get harder. Also, the University conducts all the exams right on time.

Placement: In my college, they don't give any promise for jobs after finishing studies. Honestly, most pharmacy colleges don't even have placement cells, only a few big and well-known institutions help with jobs because they want to keep their good name. So, if you want to get a job right after college, you should definitely join a top or very reputed college.

Campus: The college building is quite old, and honestly, the overall infrastructure is not that good. However, our teachers are talented, and the laboratories here are pretty good. A downside is that the fees for this college are now very high. Talking about the hostel, the food is nice, but the building itself is also old. During heavy rains, the hostel area sometimes looks like a lake.

Admission: My admission at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University was through NEET counselling. The process was quite organized, from submitting forms to the final document verification. Staff were helpful in clarifying doubts regarding fee payment and registration. The merit list publication was timely, making the whole journey smooth.

Academic: The teachers here are very qualified and smart. What I like is how they make sure every student is ready for exams and prepares everyone properly. Many classes happen in English because we have students who come from other states. Honestly, semester exams are tough, but they become easier when our teachers help us with them.

Placement: I'm doing my Bachelors in Radiography right now. For our course, many students get jobs; almost 80% to 90% of us find placements. The highest salary someone got was 5 to 6 LPA, and the average is around 3.4 to 4 LPA. Lots of students also got placed in good hospitals like Master and Apollo. We usually get roles such as radiographer or imaging specialists.

Campus: The hostel at our college is quite clean and good. The food here is also better than most other college hostels, I'd say. Our warden is a bit strict, but they do look after us when we need help. Every year, there are cultural and sports events which is cool. Also, there's a separate room for all activities. This place generally has a very good atmosphere for studying too.

Academic: The teachers at our college are well-qualified and know their stuff. They are always supportive too. The teaching here is good, they make sure we get practical experience. Our curriculum is also relevant and focused on what industries need. Exams are not super hard, like, medium tough, but you can definitely manage them. Plus, almost 90% of us pass because the faculty is so helpful.

Placement: For my batch, the placements were pretty good. Almost 85% of us got jobs, which is nice. The highest salary package someone got was 18 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA, with the average being around 7.2 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Deloitte came to hire. Also, 70% of students got internships at places like TCS, Cognizant, Bosch, and HCL. The roles offered were mostly Software Engineer, Analyst, and Developer.

Campus: In our department, we had smart classrooms and all the labs were properly equipped. Wi-Fi was available everywhere, even in the library. For hostelers, the rooms were decent with water available 24/7 and Wi-Fi access too. Mess food was just average, but the canteen had much better food. They also provided good medical help and had great sports facilities, like courts and a gym, which were very supportive.

The online registration portal was easy to use, and subsequent steps like document verification were well-organized. Staff were helpful during the counselling rounds, making the overall process smooth till orientation. Good communication helped manage expectations.

Academic: From my experience here, the teachers are friendly during classes and they help a lot with getting us placed for jobs. The college makes sure we have one big industrial visit every year. Also, there are small industrial visits each month right from our campus, which helps a lot for our future career. Most students pass, the pass percentage is 95%. Usually, semester exams are easy, but there's always that one difficult paper.

Placement: From my course, almost 95% of students get placed, which is great. About 90% of us also manage to get internships, and usually, these are for fresher roles. Talking about salary, the highest package someone got was 29 LPA, the average is around 6 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.8 LPA. Admission: The admission process at MGR Medical University was efficient. From the initial online application to document verification and fee submission, everything was well-organized. The staff were quite helpful during counselling, making the registration hassle-free. Got my allotment letter quickly.

Academic: At our college, each department has around 5-6 faculty members. They are super easy to talk to and you can clear your doubts with them whenever you need. Our courses are relevant. They also conduct counseling, which helps us pick the right college according to our marks. Exam patterns change every year, with sometimes 3 papers and sometimes up to 8. Mostly, only 3-4 students fail in a whole year.

Placement: From my experience, for this course, there is no stipend provided. But the college makes us visit many institutions like Kilpauk, Apollo, Egmore, and all. They even arrange for us to do research in hospitals based on what subjects we are studying. Internship is compulsory for us, it's for one full year and we do it in the same college itself. The college actually pays us a salary for this internship, which is good. Also, every department has a specific time you have to work, and you must finish that to graduate.

Campus: Our college library is good; it has tons of books for our courses, plus lots of journals and magazines too. For classes, they mostly use projectors to teach us. Sometimes, teachers also show us things using visual aids, audio, or even full audio-visual stuff. About sports, they don't give too much extra attention but regular competitions are definitely held.

Admission: Applying for admission here was surprisingly smooth. The online registration process was straightforward, and getting my documents verified at the counselling center was quick. Communication about the merit list and subsequent rounds was clear and timely, which really helped manage expectations.

Academic: Our teachers are very good and friendly. They are quite experienced and know their subjects well, so they teach us everything nicely. Talking about academics, in first year we need to clear 3 papers. Second year also has 3 papers and 2 non-clinical works. For the third year, it's 3 papers. And finally, in the last year, there are 8 papers to pass.

Placement: About the internship program at our college, it's for 12 months. We get 25,000 rupees each month during this time. This internship helps us learn all the basics of dentistry properly. We also get to attend public dental health camps that the college arranges, which gives good practical experience. The main internship work is done right in our college hospital. Plus, our college has many linked institutions, like the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO) and Institute of Mental Health (IMH), and we do parts of our internship, called CRRI, at these places too.

Campus: At our college, there are always plenty of exciting events happening. We get to join in inter-college sports and cultural meets, and also compete in our own intra-college competitions. The sports coordinator here is super helpful, always guiding us and appreciating what we do. Annually, we have the GDC sports events, where every batch, from first-years to final-years, participates. On Republic Day, winners are given medals and honor certificates. All these different college and cultural events make campus life very lively.

Admission: Getting admission in The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University was quite smooth. From the online application to the counselling rounds, everything felt organised. The staff assisting with document verification were helpful, and the registration process was quick. Communication about important dates was clear.

Academic: Our college curriculum is good. It makes sure every student learns all important things a doctor should know. They also have exams very often, like every 2-3 weeks. This helps us get good at the topics covered in the exam.

Placement: Once we finish our course in the final year, we have to work in our college only for one year. They give us Rs. 30,000 per month for this, and this money goes up by 5% every year. If someone wants to study further for PG, they need to clear another entrance exam called NEET PG. But if we don't want to do PG or work here, we can go to other hospitals. Our college has a good reputation, so in those hospitals, we can easily get at least 60-70k rupees salary.

Campus: Staying in our government-run hostel, you get pretty much the basics. The buildings are old, so they are getting renovated right now, which is good. Infrastructure is just average, and cleanliness is also okay. We share common bathrooms and a common dining area. But one cool thing is the food, it's actually quite good because our mess is student-run, not by some contractor. Also, the hostel has a gym, a library, a study room, a recreation room, and Wi-Fi for everyone.

Admission: Getting admission into The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University felt like a big step. The merit list announcement was clear, and subsequent counselling schedules were communicated well. Document verification had a bit of a wait, but the staff were patient. Final registration was online and simple, followed by a useful orientation session for new students.

Academic: In this degree, how well you do depends on your own interest in studying and clearing your doubts. Our teachers are quite knowledgeable and well-qualified, so they can help a lot. We also have small tests every week to check our progress. Then, there are big university exams every year, and these exams decide if we move on to the next academic year.

Placement: In my college, placements for medicine are honestly a bit of a joke. It depends on the hard work we put in ourselves during or after MBBS to clear higher exams like MD or MS to move ahead in our career. You can find chances after MBBS, but most patients nowadays like to visit specialists more than just MBBS doctors. If your skills are top-notch, then you might even be able to open your own clinic.

Campus: Our classrooms are pretty decent, and the library is well-equipped, which is a big plus. There's a proper ground for playing sports too. About medical stuff, a government hospital is quite near, so you can get help if needed. Inside the college, the food quality in the mess is just okay, but the canteen has some nice snacks to grab. For Wi-Fi in the hostels, it's a bit random, sometimes it works, sometimes not. But generally, all the basic facilities you need are available here.

Admission: The admission process at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University was surprisingly smooth. From online application to document verification, everything was clear. The counselling process was transparent, and the administrative staff were cooperative during registration. Orientation was informative, setting a good start.

Academic: The faculty is good. All our teachers are super educated and properly trained. We get special teachers, even doctors, who are experts in their subjects to teach us, and they are all very friendly. They focus on making sure we pass our exams, so classes are set up for that. Also, we have all the right labs and practicals. If any student has a problem, the faculty solves it very quickly.

Placement: The hospital for internships here is well-equipped and modern. Most students get top roles in the healthcare department after finishing their studies. Talking about placements, they are quite good; almost 90% or even more students get placed each year. For example, in one year, 20 students found jobs, and the highest salary package someone got was 1,25,000 LPA, which is a great amount.

Campus: The facilities at our college were good. We had a Wi-Fi campus, which was super helpful. Our classrooms were well-furnished and comfortable. The library and canteen were also nicely developed, along with everything else. They offered good transportation, and there was 24-hour water service available. For food, Kerala dishes were also provided. In the hostels, each room came with a shelf, and the beds were set up like a dormitory.
