Admission: The teachers here are really friendly. They make studying fun. The courses are practical and prepare you well for the industry. Exams aren't too hard if you put in the effort to study.

Placement: The college is great overall. Kerala is super clean, so the campus looks nice too. Just watch out for crows under trees! I heard from a senior in Mechanical that the placements are amazing. She got a great 18 LPA package in the core branch in her 3rd year. Attendance rule is a bit strict at 80%, but I still think the college is awesome.

Campus: The hostel facilities are pretty good the washrooms are clean, and there's even a vending machine in the girls' hostel. The mess food might not be the best for North Indians, but it's healthy and there's a decent variety. The sports areas in the hostel could use some improvement, but the college sports facilities are great. They're currently working on upgrading the sports facilities in the hostel too.

Admission: The teaching here is really good. Professors are easy to reach and explain things well using PowerPoints. They clear up any doubts we have in class. The courses like interview skills, presentations, and group discussions get us ready for job interviews. The semester is challenging, but the teachers give us all the study materials we need to do well on exams. The pass rate is always above 95%, which is awesome.

Placement: In my course last year, most students (about 85%) got placed. The highest salary was 32 LPA and the lowest was around 6 LPA. The average salary was 11 LPA. Companies like BPCL, Exon Mobile, and Honeywell hire a lot of students. Some students (around 30%) got internships at places like Exon Mobile, Honeywell, Cisco, and Swiss. We mainly get design engineer roles in our course.

Campus: We have Wi-Fi in our department, which is great. There's a computer lab too. Our department even has a women's room for girls. And there's a lift available for everyone. The food at our hostel mess is pretty good. They have a set menu that all the messes follow. We also have Wi-Fi in our rooms. They organize sports tournaments between hostels, and the winners get cool prizes like merchandise and trophies.

Admission: The professors here aren't super helpful, so we end up studying on our own. During exams, YouTube channels like Neso Academy and All About Electronics really save us. Some professors are okay, but a lot seem like they're only teaching for the paycheck. EEE is no joke - it's a tough branch since we have to learn both electrical and electronics stuff.

Placement: In my department, EEE, about 40% of us find jobs after graduation, mostly in software companies. But in the CSE department, almost all students land jobs. The average salary there is around 20 LPA, with the highest being 54 LPA. It's tough to get into core companies, and the pay is lower too. Last year, Qualcomm only hired M.Tech students for hardware positions.

Campus: The hostels here are pretty nice, especially New Mega. All the classrooms have smart technology. The library is great, and there's a digital library too. The food options in the messes are good, with both veg and non-veg dishes like South Indian and North Indian. Plus, there's a mini canteen and a micro canteen on campus for snacks.

Admission: The teachers and staff are super supportive and inspiring. The coursework might be tough, but if we study well, we can handle it. The pass rate is usually between 80% to 90%. For harder classes, it can drop to 60% to 70%, but it all comes down to how ready we are.

Placement: I'm Charan, studying Civil Engineering at NIT Calicut. In my batch, we have around 200 students. The highest salary offered is around 20 LPA, and most students get jobs with an average salary between 8 to 10 LPA. While there aren't set companies that recruit every year, the overall job placement rate is pretty decent.

Campus: The classroom is pretty big, around 40 feet tall and 20 meters wide. The labs and experiments facilities are amazing. The food could be improved, it doesn't taste like home. But the sports encouragement is really good here.

Admission: The teachers at NIT Calicut are awesome! They really know their stuff and teach well. The curriculum here is unique compared to other NITs. They want us to focus on studying and think critically. The semester exams are tough, especially Quantum Physics - 6 classmates failed it! The pass rate is around 65%.

Placement: I'm a student at NIT Calicut, studying Engineering Physics. There are 35 students in our class. Last year, 13 got placed with a max package of 42 LPA, average 12 LPA, and minimum 5 LPA. But this year, things changed. The highest package is 6 LPA. Since many of us plan to do Masters, not many companies come for placements. Some students do coding and land jobs at big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Wipro, and Infosys.

Campus: The college is great! Wi-Fi is everywhere on campus and you just need your school email to use it. The labs are pretty good, although our first-year mechanical workshop was a bit hot without any fans. Classrooms are nice with 6 fans and 4 lights. The library is huge with tons of books and stays open till midnight. The hostel rooms fit 2 people and the food is okay. Plus, the health center is open all day, every day.

Admission: The faculty here are a mix some are really good at explaining things, while others just stick to the slides. The course is cool because we dive into the main subjects right from the start. It helps us focus on our branch subjects early on and start doing projects by the third year. Exams are okay, kinda depends on the teachers. About 90% of students pass, so that's a good thing.

Placement: This year, almost all EEE students got placed, which is awesome. The top package in CSE is 67 LPA, while in EEE, it's 43 LPA. The average package overall is 10 LPA, but in EEE, it's even better at 13 LPA. We had around 195 companies visiting for placements this year, which is great for job opportunities.

Campus: The campus has nice buildings and lots of greenery which makes studying here enjoyable. In the 1st year hostels, there are 3 people in each room. For 2nd and 3rd year, it's 2 people per room, and 4th year students get single rooms. There are many mess halls on campus, but the food quality varies. The best part is the sports facilities and games available. However, the gym lacks proper equipment.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and they're always around to support us. They change the course content every year to give us the best chances. The exams are tough, but it's no surprise since we're the 3rd best in architecture according to NIRF.

Placement: The architecture department at NIT Calicut has a decent salary range of 3-5 lakhs per year. Around 5-6 students out of 60 usually find placements. Every student needs to do an internship, mostly in the fourth year. LNT is one company that hires students from here.

Campus: NIT Calicut has Wi-Fi everywhere on campus and in hostels, which is great. Students can use the labs and computer labs easily. The food in the mess might take some time to get used to, especially for students from different places. But there are different messes with different types of food, so you can pick what you like. The college has sports teams that compete with other NIT colleges. And there's a health clinic open 24/7 for students, which is really helpful.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They're really supportive and qualified. They teach well and make sure we understand. The semester exams are tough, but around 70% of students pass. This course is great for anyone into research.

Placement: In my engineering physics class, we have around 35 students. Out of those, about 16 students will get placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Wipro, and Infosys. The rest are going for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 5 LPA. On average, students are landing jobs with an 8 LPA salary. Around 60% of us got internships in our college, and some others snagged spots at Google, Wipro, and Infosys. The top role for us is a research scientist.

Campus: The college has Wi-Fi all the time, which is cool. The classrooms are decent, with 6 fans and 4 lights. The environment is nice. The library is huge and has all the books we need. The food is okay, but it's a hostel so can't expect too much. The canteen is great and has everything we want. There's a health center open 24/7 for medical needs. Sports are good and they support students well.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff, but sometimes you gotta rely on YouTube right before exams. The courses are okay - not too hard, not too easy, which gets us ready for the industry. Teaching is alright too. Most students pass with a 95% success rate.

Placement: Last year, 22 students out of 55 got jobs. They got roles in GET and analyst positions. Top companies like Caterpillar, ExxonMobil, and ZS hired from our college. The highest salary offered was 13 LPA, with an average of 8 LPA. This year, half of the students are already placed. The lowest salary package is 5 LPA.

Campus: The hostel here is pretty good, I'd give it a 4 out of 5. The college is run by the government, so the buildings for the 1st and 4th years are kinda old, but the 2nd and 3rd years get a nice new hostel. Wi-Fi is in all the hostels, which is great. The classrooms are huge, and the library is massive and has air conditioning.

They help us with any struggles we're going through, whether it's mentally, physically, or academically. The courses are set up to prepare us for real-life challenges. The exams are fair, not too hard. You just need to put in some effort to do well.

Placement: Most students in civil engineering get jobs here, about 90%. Our campus has great placement opportunities. Big companies like Amazon and Google visit us. Our placement drive is one of the biggest in the state. Internships are really valuable here too.

Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere in classes, public areas, and even in the hostel rooms! It's great for studying. The infrastructure is solid too. Plus, the food on campus is top-notch. The hostel food is just as good. Can't complain about that!
