EIL SC/ST Undergraduate Scholarship

INR 3,000 per month (paid for 12 months each year throughout the degree)

To be eligible for the EIL Scholarship, candidates must be an SC/ST student pursuing a full-time B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in engineering. They should be studying in a recognised college/institute. Their Annual family income is less than INR 3,00,000. They should not be enrolled in any other scholarship/stipend. They must have 55% or above (or equivalent CGPA/CPI) in Class XII/Diploma for the initial award and in 1st/2nd/3rd year results for continuation.

Number of scholarships: SC-10, ST-5.

7 seats are reserved for girls.

E-Grantz Scholarship (Post-Matric)

Variable monthly stipend/benefit amount depends on the student’s category, course level, and living situation. For SC students, INR 630 to INR 1,500 per month. For OBC students, INR 200-INR 250 per month (professional/UG), smaller for lower courses. For Poly/Diploma students, INR 100-INR150/month (OBC)

To be eligible for the E-Grantz Scholarship, candidates must be students in post-matriculation studies (e.g., UG/PG/professional). Resident of Kerala studying in a govt-recognised institute (like NITC). They should belong to SC/ST/OBC/OEC or an eligible backward community. Their annual family income limits: SC/ST/OEC typically have no income limit for OBC/others, usually less than INR 1 Lakh. Must have 75% minimum attendance, often required. Can’t avail another scholarship simultaneously under this scheme.

Stage 1

Download the Scholarship Application Form from the official notice PDF.

Use only the latest form issued by the authority.

Stage 2

Fill in your personal details such as name, course, discipline, and roll number.

Ensure all details match the institute records.

Stage 3

Paste or attach a recent passport-size photograph on the form.

Use a clear and recent photo.

Stage 4

Enter the annual income of parents/guardians and attach valid income proof.

An income certificate must be issued by an authorised authority.

Stage 5

Tick the SC or ST category (if applicable) and attach the caste certificate.

Certificates should be government-issued and valid.

Stage 6

List your academic qualifications (Class X, XII/Diploma) and attach attested mark sheets.

Self-attestation or institute attestation as required.

Stage 7

Mention whether you are receiving any other scholarship and provide details if applicable.

Mandatory disclosure to avoid rejection.

Stage 8

Sign the application, add the date, and provide a valid email ID and mobile number.

All scholarship communication is sent via email.

Stage 9

Get the form recommended and signed by the authorised institutional authority with a seal.

Unsigned forms are not accepted.

Stage 10

Attach all required documents, including mark sheets, caste certificate, income certificate, and bank RTGS/NEFT mandate form.

Arrange documents in the prescribed order.
