The central library at NIT Meghalaya has more than 16,500 books and provides access to over 9,647 e-books. Students can borrow up to 4 books for 14 days. In case of late return, a fine of INR 5 per day per book is charged. If a book is lost, the student must replace it with the same or latest edition, or pay the current price along with a fine of INR 100.
