Admission: The teachers at NUALS are a mixed bag. Some are really good and care about teaching, while others aren't that great. There aren't enough good professors, so they have temporary lecturers who might not be very qualified. But the permanent teachers are up to date and interact well with students. The college is trying new teaching methods to make learning more interesting. The subjects are spread out well, but I feel like they don't focus enough on commercial law. They pack all of company law, which is super important for corporate law, into just one semester. It's a lot to handle. But the optional subjects are good and make up for it. If you know what you want to study, you can choose your own subjects in the last two years and get the most out of it. The internships after each semester help you learn practically about what you're interested in.
Placement: The college's placement cell is not the best, and campus placements are low. But students do get PPOs at top law firms like CAM, SAM, Khaitan & Co., and Trilegal. They start as trainee associates and legal officers, mostly working on due diligence and bank consultations. Some do freelance work or go for higher studies in the US, UK, or India. NUALS even had a Rhodes Scholar before. About 60% of students land good jobs after graduation. The highest package in 2019 was around 20 Lacs per year from ICICI Bank. Many students go into litigation and excel there. Regular recruiters include Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, and law firms in Kochi.
Campus: The college is really improving its facilities, especially with the new Vice Chancellor, Dr. K.C Sunny. We have a cool seminar hall, a big auditorium, and a media room for international seminars. We also have a football ground that turns into a cricket ground and a basketball court. There are elevators in the academic block and the admin block, but not in the boys' hostel. The moot court hall was added in 2019. The Wi-Fi is good when it works, but it can be spotty. Classrooms are big and have projectors, but no AC. The library has a decent collection of books and a study room. Hostel rooms are shared by 3 students, and some are cramped and hot. New hostel building is coming up. Each student gets a table, chair, almirah, and bed in the room with a washroom. Rooms are cleaned twice a week, and laundry is done twice a week for a fee. Hostel curfew is at 11 pm. The mess food is good with veg and non-veg options decided by students. Canteen food quality changes yearly. Overall, the college is getting better, but there are some areas that could use improvement.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good overall. The ones who teach BA subjects seem knowledgeable, but their teaching isn't that great. Things get better in the 2nd year when you start studying only law subjects. Most professors are good, with a couple of really outstanding ones.
Placement: Placements just started, and 5 students found jobs in the past 2 months. The main companies that hire from our college are ICICI Bank, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and Federal Bank. They offer roles like legal advisor, executive partner, drafting head, and legal secretary. The average salary is 8-9 LPA. I'm not sure about internships though.
Campus: I really like how our college looks. The buildings are all new and really cozy. Each classroom in the academic block has smart technology. Plus, every hostel room comes with its own bathroom. The food is pretty good, but they serve a lot of south Indian dishes.

Admission: The teachers here mostly have a Ph.D. degree. They're really nice and always ready to help. In the fourth year, you can choose to study criminal law, corporate law, or constitutional law. They've also introduced a new way of teaching to make learning more interesting for students.
Placement: The job placements at our college are getting better slowly. Before, only a few students were getting placed, but now more students are finding jobs. Like, three years back, about 23 students from a group of 120 got placed. Right now, the Placement Cell is mostly managed by students, and banks and companies work with them for placements. We hope they'll soon have a full-time staff to improve the placement process even more.
Campus: The hostels here are pretty big, with rooms for three people and bathrooms with showers. The food at the mess is top-notch and students run it. The library has lots of books and even has air-conditioned spots. We've got sports facilities like basketball courts, football ground, cricket pitch, and more. Plus, there's a gym and a canteen with food choices. And if you want more options, there are places to eat just a short walk away or you can order in from apps.

Admission: The courses are really up-to-date and not too overwhelming. The teachers are super qualified with PhDs and they're really nice to us. But some professors aren't as good and can be a bit biased, like at other schools.
Placement: Around 20% of us in the final year got jobs. The highest salary was 13 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA, and the average was 10 LPA. Khaitan & Co., Thomson Reuters, and Federal Bank hire a lot from our college. We get roles like legal and junior associates. Everyone in our course lands internships in big companies, law firms, and with famous lawyers and judges.
Campus: The campus Wi-Fi is free and the classrooms have projectors. The library is big and has lots of books. We can use online resources like Manupatra and SCC Online. The mess food is tasty and the quality is good. The hostel is clean and tidy, the staff clean it regularly.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They're not just good at teaching, but they also guide you like mentors. Most of them have PhDs and know their stuff really well. The courses cover 60 interesting topics, and the college atmosphere is friendly.
Placement: Around half the students in our batch find jobs after graduation. The highest salary offered was 13 lakhs per year. Companies like Ernst and Young and ICICI hire a lot of students. Some students prefer finding jobs off-campus, which seems to work out well. The college has a lot of opportunities available. There are many alumni all over the country.
Campus: The food in the dining hall is awesome, they offer a lot of different options. The canteen will be open soon, and the accommodation is nice. The only downside is transportation can be a bit tricky, but there are plenty of hotels and restaurants nearby. The sports facilities are top-notch, and the sports committee is super involved.
