The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT Notification 2026. The CLAT 2026 Application Process will begin on August 1, 2025. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 will be conducted for undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered at National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. The CLAT Exam 2026 will be held on December 7, 2025. However, the CLAT 2026 Exam Date is same for PG courses as well.

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi is one of India’s top law universities. The flagship five-year BA LLB (Hons.) is for students who have completed 10+2. The admission is strictly based on CLAT scores, and candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria of 45% marks in 10+2 (40% for SC/ST).

 

For postgraduate studies, NUALS offers a one-year LLM programme in three specialized branches: International Trade Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, and Public Health Law. NUALS offers a PhD in Law. The candidate must have a minimum of 55% in LLM and qualifying marks in the Departmental Admission Test (DAT). The application process for all programs is fully online.CLAT-based admissions for BA LLB and LLM and direct or merit-based procedures for Diploma and PhD programs. The documents required at the time of admisison are academic mark sheets, CLAT scorecards (where applicable), ID proofs, and photographs.
