Admission: The faculty here needs improvement. Most of them are still studying for the NET entrance test. They stick to old ways of teaching which can be boring. We miss out on practical knowledge. Because of the shortage of teachers, the course schedule depends on who's available. This means we sometimes have to study subjects we're not interested in. It's frustrating when a subject we like isn't taught because there's not enough teachers.
Placement: I'm part of the 5th group at the college, and I've noticed more job opportunities each year. At first, not many students got placed, but now companies like JSA, Luthra are hiring from our college. Around 10-15 students from the batch of 120 get campus jobs every year. Others usually get job offers from their internships. There are committees at the college that focus on helping students find jobs. On average, students get offered salaries in lakhs.
Campus: When I started college in 2013, we only had one academic building and one hostel for girls and boys. But in the past 5 years, the college has grown a lot. Now we have an amphitheater, two academic buildings, two administrative buildings, two girls hostels, two boys hostels, a sports complex, and a big garden. The only things missing are a library, AC rooms, and a guest house for parents. We have good internet and the wi-fi works fine. But we still need some things. Like, a good grocery store and a food place because the college is far from the city. It would also be great to have medical services and AC rooms in the hostels because Odisha gets really humid.

Admission: The teachers at this college are top-notch! They really know their stuff and explain things well. A lot of them studied abroad, which is cool. It shows they're serious about what they do.
Placement: The job placements at our college are really good. Around 60% to 70% of past students got jobs, and now they're working at top companies. It's a proud moment for a university that started in 2009 and has such a high placement rate.
Campus: I love the college's setup. The amphitheatre is stunning! They've got a sports complex, gym, and academic block. Lots of greenery around, which is nice. The vibe here is cool, with students from all over. Really diverse crowd!

Admission: I love the teachers at this college. They really know their stuff. The classes are set up to teach us what we need to know for real life. And most of the time, we get to learn from different teachers, which is cool. They've got professors, assistant professors, associate professors, and lecturers who are experts in their fields. It's awesome.
Placement: The job placements for our senior year students are pretty great. They landed jobs at big law firms like Amarchand, Khaitan & Co., Luthra and Luthra, and more. Our university has a placement committee run by students and overseen by a faculty member. This team works hard to help us secure good placements.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities. We get our own room in the hostel, and the canteen serves yummy North and South Indian food. Plus, there's unlimited Wi-Fi. The library has lots of books, and we also have cool stuff like an amphitheater and sports complex. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers at our college are really great! They make you think deeply about what you're learning. Some good teachers have left, but there are still some awesome ones left. The course content hasn't changed much, but the order of subjects can be a bit confusing. The teachers do update their lesson plans often, which is good. It seems like other schools may have similar problems, where everything depends on the teachers and how they manage everything.
Placement: A lot of students from our college end up getting placed, which is great. Recently, more students are getting hired through on-campus placements. Big companies like L&L, Khaitan, CAM, and SAM hire students. The average salary is around 12-14 LPA. The internship team has been doing a good job since 2018 and managed to secure over 60 internships for both winter and summer in 2019.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is okay now, and you can connect multiple devices. In the classrooms, they're pretty good, but they need some maintenance. The bathrooms in the academic block aren't great, but the ones in the hostels are clean and well-kept. The library is a bit cramped because they turned two classrooms into it. They're building a big new library, and it seems like it might actually be finished soon. The hostel is alright, and you get your own room. Some of the older buildings have issues like water leaks, especially in the girls' hostels. The food in the mess is really good. They have a student committee that changes up the menu every day. They serve non-veg meals three times a week, usually at night. The medical facilities used to be lacking, but they're improving now. They have ambulances and medicines available. The sports facilities are decent we have basketball, tennis, badminton, and volleyball courts. There's space for a football field, but it's not ready yet. If you play cricket, you can catch a ride to Barabati Stadium on the university bus.

Admission: The teachers here are really good, but sometimes it gets messed up in class when they keep changing professors. They're cool though, they stick around after class to help with any questions. The course is up-to-date with what's needed in the legal world, and we cover 6 subjects each semester. At NLUO, we only have 2 big exams each semester - one's theory (70 marks) and the other's a mix of project and viva (30 marks). You need to get at least 49.5 out of 100 to pass, which is like 50%.
Placement: I was part of the recruitment process along with 79 other students. 71 of us got placed in the 2023 batch. The average salary offered was 11.7 LPA, with the highest being 18 LPA. Some of the top companies that hired us were Trilegal, Luthra and Luthra, Induslaw, Khaitan & Co., and Saraf and Partners.
Campus: The college's got good infrastructure with Wi-Fi everywhere. The law library is massive and air-conditioned, the rest of the campus too. There are 3 canteens one open during the day and two at night, plus a Nescafe and juice spot. The mess food is alright. They've got outdoor and indoor sports facilities, including a cricket ground, football field, and a gym.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and teach in a cool way. They use hands-on and tech stuff to teach us. There are plenty of teachers to help us out. But we didn't really get to see how things work in the real world. The course stuff wasn't super useful either. Just good for looking at, not much else.
Placement: Our senior batch didn't have great job placements, but the college is working on it this year. About half of the students found jobs. I don't know much about the pay or companies though. Our college is in a less developed state with limited opportunities for students.
Campus: The campus is really nice, especially the library, medical center, and sports complex. The dorm rooms have Wi-Fi, which is great, and the food is good too. The only downside is when the college overbooks and there's not enough room for everyone.

Admission: The exam system here is really good. Teachers are nice and helpful. The administration can be a bit tough to deal with, but they still support us in preparing for the future. The teaching methods and curriculum are great for setting us up for a good career. The semester exams are kind of challenging, but manageable. We have a total of 9 semesters, with 2 semesters every year.
Placement: I really liked how NLUO helps students with placements. Having a strong CV and skills is important for getting a good job, and NLUO sets us up well for that. Many students have kickstarted their careers after studying here. The placement and recruitment committee on campus does a great job too.
Campus: The classrooms are air-conditioned, but freshers have to share a small room for the first year, which can be a bit cramped. It's okay though. From the second year, you get your own room. The library is massive with 4 floors, all air-conditioned, and it's a super peaceful spot to study. Cuttack can get really hot in the summer, as it's quite humid. The hostel doesn't have ACs, so you'll need to get a cooler. The campus is beautiful, and there are lots of sports facilities available.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. They're helpful, know their stuff, and are well-trained. The course is super relevant to what's happening now. You learn about sixty different topics over five years. I'm studying BBA LL.B., so I'm learning all about corporate accounting.
Placement: Around 35-40% of students in our college land jobs every year. The average salary package is 10 LPA. Big companies like Trilegal, Khaitan, and Indus Law come to our campus to hire students. The type of job you get depends on the company.
Campus: The classrooms are nice, they have ACs and projectors. There's also a library, amphitheater, and seminar hall for events. The food is decent, you get four meals a day for Rs.20,000 per month. They have a wellness center and Wi-Fi too. Overall, it's a good place to study.

Admission: The teachers at NLUO are a mixed bag, like in any college. But most of them are really well-qualified and friendly. They make sure there's good communication with students. The course curriculum prepares us well for the future and matches industry standards.
Placement: The placements at NLUO are getting better every year. They're doing better than most other NLUs that started before NLUO. The highest package was around 18L, at least that's what I heard from different people. The average is between 10-12L.
Campus: The hostel is awesome because we get our own rooms, unlike other NLUs where it's usually doubles or triples. The classrooms have ACs, but sometimes they don't let us use them much. They're building a big library just for us, which is cool. And we have a great auditorium and sports complex. The campus is huge, so it's nice to walk around in the morning or evening.

Admission: The teachers in the first semester were really good. They were always there to help with any questions during breaks and shared helpful PPTs for our notes. The subjects in the course were interesting, mixing law and management topics. The exams were tough, with questions worth between 15 to 25 marks each. We only had end-of-semester exams at NLUO, no mid-semester ones. You need at least 75% attendance to sit for exams, and the pass rate is 34%.
Placement: Around 70 out of 180 students got jobs last year. The top salary was 15 LPA from Cyril Amalchand Mangaldas. The average was between 8 to 10 LPA, and the lowest offer was 8 LPA. TriLegal, Khaitan & Co., Luthra & Associates, and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas are popular recruiters. We get roles like legal intern and junior associate after finishing our course.
Campus: The hostels aren't amazing. The rooms are pretty small, and you have to share in your first year. The food is good though, and the students run the mess so there's lots of variety and it tastes great. Both the hostels and classrooms have Wi-Fi, and the library is huge one of the biggest in Asia.
