Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff and are easy to talk to. Even though the one-year course may not match perfectly with what they teach, it does a good job getting us ready for work. Almost everyone passes their exams (around 98-99%), and the tests are just the right level of challenging.
Placement: I heard that more than half of the students at PEC got placed recently. The highest salary offered is 83 lakhs, with an average of 140000. The lowest salary ranges between 5 to 8 lakhs. Companies like Microsoft, American Express, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs hire students from PEC. Around half of the students also get internship offers, but I'm not sure about the exact positions they're offered.
Campus: The campus is cool but a bit old-fashioned. We've got a nice library, classrooms with AC, and Wi-Fi everywhere. The hostels are okay, just a tad old, but the food in the mess is tasty. Plus, there's a market and a clinic on campus for students.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff, especially in the main subjects. The ones teaching first-year courses are more chill though. They all have PhDs from top-notch places like IITs and overseas universities. The courses they offer really match what's needed today, and they keep updating them. Exams every semester aren't too hard, so most of us get through them just fine.
Placement: Last year, most students got jobs, but this year it's tough because of the recession. Companies like JP Morgan and American Express hire a lot of students here. You can get roles in SDE, data analyst, CADP, and finance. About half of students got internships, and some got PPOs too.
Campus: The campus has okay infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. Classrooms have AC and smart boards. The hostels are average, typical for a government college. The food in the mess is pretty good, with lots of different choices.

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff. They're super chill and get where you're coming from. You don't have to stress about missing class you can just kick back if you're not feeling it. But if you're into learning, there's plenty of support. The tests are fair and you can totally do well on them.
Placement: Our 2024 batch has around 800 students across all branches, with 120 in the electrical branch. You can find placement stats online. JP Morgan hires a lot of students from our college and gives some students packages worth up to 50 LPA. They offer roles like software engineering, finance, and management.
Campus: The buildings at PEC are really old and the campus is small. The Wi-Fi is there but not lightning fast, it gets the job done. The food in the mess is alright and you can manage. There's a medical center but it's not super helpful and not open all the time.

Admission: The teachers are really good, they know their stuff and they're helpful. Of course, there are always a few exceptions. The subjects we study are super relevant. It's like what you'd learn at a top college in India. Exams aren't too tough, but it depends on who you ask. I feel like even if we cram for just a week or even a day before, we can easily score above 7.5-8.
Placement: Half of the students in mechanical engineering course get good jobs. Most students land positions in software development, finance, or management. The pay is decent around 11 LPA on average, with the highest pay being 21 LPA. The lowest pay is 6 LPA. Last year, the best offer was 40 LPA.
Campus: The college buildings are okay, but they're fixing up the hostels. Wi-Fi can be slow and unreliable, sometimes not working for a while. The library is a good place to study, even though they don't have a lot of books. The labs don't have the newest stuff. The classrooms aren't top-notch, but they're big, bright, and have smart boards. The food in the mess is decent, better than at some other big colleges. The hostel rooms need some work. The sports facilities are pretty good for playing all kinds of sports.

Admission: The teachers here are alright, they come from regular colleges. They do try to help, but the course structure isn't great. It doesn't really match what engineers need nowadays. The exams in each semester can be tough, depending on the subjects. Some are harder than others, for sure.
Placement: I took my course and lots of students got placed last year. About 70-80% of us found jobs. The average salary offered was 10.5 LPA. Big companies like JP Morgan, American Express, BMW, and Maruti hired mechanical students. Google and Microsoft also came for placements.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here isn't great and the lab infrastructure could be better. I enjoy the cultural activities, but sports are just okay. Hostel facilities are lacking, and the mess food is average. Sometimes the mess staff are careless. There's a market on campus with good quality food.

Admission: The professors are okay, and the classes usually have around 60 students, so it's not too crowded. The first-year courses could be better, but that's pretty normal for any college. The Engineering drawing classes are pretty rough. The exams aren't too hard, they're pretty easy overall.
Placement: Around half of the students found jobs after college. They got paid about 16 LPA on average. The highest salary was 83 LPA, while the lowest was 12 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, Microsoft, and Deloitte hired students. Popular roles included software developer and finance manager.
Campus: The boys hostel Shivalik for first-year students isn't great because it's pretty old. The food at the mess is alright. The campus isn't huge, but there's a sports center and gym. You can buy stationery and snacks at the PEC market. Plus, there's a dispensary in the market for getting medicine.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful, and some of them are IIT alumni, so they know a lot and have tons of experience. The course is super important for engineering students and gets us ready for working in the industry. The exams in each semester are pretty tough, so it's not as easy to get high scores like we did in school. Your passing grade depends on how well you do compared to everyone else in your department.
Placement: Most students in our course get jobs after graduating, like around 90%. The highest salary offered is about 40 LPA, while the lowest is 3.5 LPA. On average, students get around 11 LPA. Big companies like JP Morgan, Maruti, and American Express hire students. During our 6th-semester internships, over 70% of students intern at places like JP Morgan and Maruti. Popular job titles for us are design engineer, fintech, SDE, analyst, and consultant.
Campus: The classrooms have projectors and white screens for showing PPT slides and syllabus, which is cool. Sometimes, Wi-Fi can be a bit iffy in certain buildings. The food in the hostel mess is decent, but there have been some problems like finding insects, chairs, or wires in the parathas and curries. If you're not feeling well, you can go to the PEC market for medical help. They treat stuff like dysentery, diarrhea, fever, and cuts. The school is big on sports, which is awesome. They even have tournaments for cricket and football.

Admission: The teachers in my department really know their stuff and have tons of experience - like, over 20 years! They teach in a cool way that makes learning fun. We even get to go on trips to see industries in action. And get this - in the 3rd semester and 4th year, we actually fly planes at IIT Kanpur! The exams here can be a mixed bag though. Sometimes they're a breeze, and other times they're super tough.
Placement: The Aerospace placements here are okay, around 35% of students get placed. A lot of aerospace folks go for a master's degree. Last year, the lowest package was 15.43 LPA and the highest was 21 LPA. On average, it's 14 LPA. Companies like Boeing, Airbus, HAL, and DRDO hire aerospace students. Many end up doing research with a professor or working at DRDO.
Campus: The hostels have Wi-Fi, but it can be a bit spotty at times. Most classrooms have AC and projectors. The library is cool with lots of books on all subjects across three floors. The mess fee is about Rs. 3,500 per month the food is okay, sometimes really good. The college campus has volleyball, cricket, and basketball courts, plus tennis courts. There's also a free dispensary for students.

Admission: The classes are interesting, and the teachers explain things well. Exams come up pretty often, but it helps you stay on track. First year is fun, but don't forget to focus on your studies too. No worries about ragging here.
Placement: The job opportunities in 2023 were awesome, with the top salary being 63 LPA for CSE and 44 LPA for Mechanical. But in 2024, the placements weren't as great as before. It could be due to various reasons.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is not great. Most buildings are old and give off government building vibes. Only a couple of buildings are decent, the rest are not up to par.

Admission: The teachers here are all from top colleges like IITB and MIT. They're friendly and good at teaching. Some teachers are really great, while others are just okay. Physics and mechatronics can be a bit tough, but not too bad. The semester exams cover a lot of theories and practical stuff, which is good.
Placement: Data Science started at PEC in 2021, but no Data Science students have been placed yet. About internships and PPO, one-third of the seniors got internships. In CSE, the highest package is 50 LPA, the lowest is around 5-5.5 LPA, and the average is about 15 LPA.
Campus: I stayed in one of the 4 boys' hostels at PEC Shiwalik, Aravali, Himalaya, and Kurukshetra. For girls, there are Kalpana Chawla and Vindhya hostels. The food in the hostels is decent, not too bad. The rooms are comfy to live in. Just a heads up, Himalaya and Kurukshetra hostels are a bit of a walk from the academic block.
