Admission: The teachers here aren't that great. They just write stuff on the board without really explaining it. The courses don't really prepare you for the real world, it's all just theory. The exams are pretty easy, you can do well by studying a week before.
Placement: The electrical course here doesn't have many placement opportunities. Only a handful of companies come for placements. Most of them are software data analyst companies. Students need to really work hard to secure a placement in that field. But even after putting in all that effort, there's no guarantee of getting hired because companies usually only take on 2-3 students.
Campus: The college is really old, like from way back before independence. The classrooms aren't fancy, but the labs for core subjects are pretty decent. The staff, though, not so great. Don't expect to learn much from them. The library is alright, but it's on the smaller side compared to other things the college offers.

Admission: The teachers are really good, they know their stuff and they're helpful. Of course, there are always a few exceptions. The subjects we study are super relevant. It's like what you'd learn at a top college in India. Exams aren't too tough, but it depends on who you ask. I feel like even if we cram for just a week or even a day before, we can easily score above 7.5-8.
Placement: Half of the students in mechanical engineering course get good jobs. Most students land positions in software development, finance, or management. The pay is decent around 11 LPA on average, with the highest pay being 21 LPA. The lowest pay is 6 LPA. Last year, the best offer was 40 LPA.
Campus: The college buildings are okay, but they're fixing up the hostels. Wi-Fi can be slow and unreliable, sometimes not working for a while. The library is a good place to study, even though they don't have a lot of books. The labs don't have the newest stuff. The classrooms aren't top-notch, but they're big, bright, and have smart boards. The food in the mess is decent, better than at some other big colleges. The hostel rooms need some work. The sports facilities are pretty good for playing all kinds of sports.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good. They're super helpful and excited about teaching. The courses are okay, but in the first year, we have to take some random classes that aren't related to our major. It's kind of annoying, but it does give us a taste of different subjects. Some exams are really tough, while others are more manageable.
Placement: Last year, over half the students found placements, which is great. The average package was almost 16 LPA, with the highest being 83 LPA and the lowest in my branch at 12 LPA. Some big companies like Microsoft, Uber, Amazon, Google, and Deloitte hire students from PEC, which is awesome.
Campus: The college infrastructure is decent. We have Wi-Fi everywhere and a cool library. Lots of labs and sports options too. They even have a clinic for medical help. Only downside is some water coolers are dirty and the internet's spotty in the new academic building.

Admission: The professors are okay, and the classes usually have around 60 students, so it's not too crowded. The first-year courses could be better, but that's pretty normal for any college. The Engineering drawing classes are pretty rough. The exams aren't too hard, they're pretty easy overall.
Placement: Around half of the students found jobs after college. They got paid about 16 LPA on average. The highest salary was 83 LPA, while the lowest was 12 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, Microsoft, and Deloitte hired students. Popular roles included software developer and finance manager.
Campus: The boys hostel Shivalik for first-year students isn't great because it's pretty old. The food at the mess is alright. The campus isn't huge, but there's a sports center and gym. You can buy stationery and snacks at the PEC market. Plus, there's a dispensary in the market for getting medicine.

Admission: The teachers here are really supportive and work well with students. They have good qualifications from top schools and lots of teaching experience. The exams during the semester can be tough, but if we keep up with our studies, we can handle them. The courses help us get ready for working in the industry. The faculty is friendly and fair with grading.
Placement: Most students here get good placements, around 70%. The average package is 17 LPA, with the highest being 58 LPA and the lowest around 3 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, and JP Morgan hire a lot of students. Many students even get job offers from their internships, which are awesome here.
Campus: The classrooms are a bit old, and the Wi-Fi can be spotty, but it's not a big deal. The hostel is nice for making friends, but the food is gross and not very clean. Overall, it's a decent place with good infrastructure.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful when you approach them the right way. The course layout is great, and we get to do internships for real-world experience. The tests can be tough, but if you study well, they're totally doable.
Placement: The college's placement stats are really solid because it's well-known. Most placements and internships go to circuit branches. Non-circuit branches might have some trouble, but they still find jobs. Big companies like Microsoft, JP Morgan, and McKinsey come for placements.
Campus: The campus is nice, but a bit old because it's been around for a long time. The Wi-Fi works well. The classrooms, labs, and seminar rooms have cool tech stuff. They also have a library with quiet places to study. There are 4 boys' and 2 girls' hostels, and they look after them well. The food is decent too.

Admission: The classes are interesting, and the teachers explain things well. Exams come up pretty often, but it helps you stay on track. First year is fun, but don't forget to focus on your studies too. No worries about ragging here.
Placement: The job opportunities in 2023 were awesome, with the top salary being 63 LPA for CSE and 44 LPA for Mechanical. But in 2024, the placements weren't as great as before. It could be due to various reasons.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is not great. Most buildings are old and give off government building vibes. Only a couple of buildings are decent, the rest are not up to par.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. They've got degrees from top colleges like IITs, NITs, and even abroad. They're pretty chill and don't stress about attendance. The first-year course content is a bit outdated, though. We often have to ask professors for extra tips to help us with job placements.
Placement: The placement scene at our college is really good. We have great companies like Nvidia, Micron, Apple, and Samsung coming for recruitment. Some seniors mentioned that getting internships at top companies can be tough, but overall placements are not a problem. Our college location is better than even some NITs and a few IITs.
Campus: The hostel rooms aren't great. But hey, there's a volleyball court, badminton court, lawn, TT table, and mess in every hostel. The food in the mess is alright. And there's Wi-Fi in each room. The department has labs for all branches. Oh, and there's a cool library on campus too.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff and are easy to talk to. Even though the one-year course may not match perfectly with what they teach, it does a good job getting us ready for work. Almost everyone passes their exams (around 98-99%), and the tests are just the right level of challenging.
Placement: I heard that more than half of the students at PEC got placed recently. The highest salary offered is 83 lakhs, with an average of 140000. The lowest salary ranges between 5 to 8 lakhs. Companies like Microsoft, American Express, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs hire students from PEC. Around half of the students also get internship offers, but I'm not sure about the exact positions they're offered.
Campus: The campus is cool but a bit old-fashioned. We've got a nice library, classrooms with AC, and Wi-Fi everywhere. The hostels are okay, just a tad old, but the food in the mess is tasty. Plus, there's a market and a clinic on campus for students.

Admission: The professors here are really smart and nice, but some of them can be tough. The curriculum is posted on the website and it's pretty solid. We have midterms, finals, quizzes, and we get internal marks too. They grade us on a curve, which is fair.
Placement: I'm glad to share that 43 out of 83 students from my college got placed this year. The best package was 21 LPA, while the lowest was 12 LPA. Companies like Tata, Maruti, and many infrastructure firms hired students. We also had 340 internships in different departments. The stipends ranged from ¹15,000 to ¹1.5 LPA. Big names like Microsoft, P&G, Samsung, and others offered these internships. It's great to see so many opportunities for us here.
Campus: The classrooms are huge and have AC and Wi-Fi. The library has tons of books on different topics that you can borrow for the semester. The hostels are clean, and the food is good in the mess. The boys' hostel mess could be better, though. Overall, it's a good college.
