National Law Institute University (NLIU) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). NLIU is the 2nd National Law School established after NLSIU, Bangalore. NLIU Bhopal offers undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programmes in law. The university also offers postgraduate courses in Cyber Law and Information Security through the Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Centre (RGNCLC), NLIU, Bhopal.

 

The NLIU Bhopal admission to these courses is based on the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), conducted once a year. This is followed by counselling rounds, an interview, and document verification. Candidates can apply online via the official CLAT portal.

 

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT Notification 2026. The CLAT 2026 Application Process will begin on August 1, 2025. NLIU Bhopal offers a 5-year integrated BA LLB (Hons.) and B.Sc LLB in Cybersecurity courses. The BA LLB (Hons.) course combines foundational subjects in arts and law and prepares students for multiple legal careers. B.Sc LLB course attempts to make the students familiar with Indian law and to understand international developments in cybersecurity.

NLIU Bhopal Admission (PG) 2025

NLIU Bhopal offers 2 PG courses, namely the LLM course of 1 year long and the Master of Cyber Law and Information Security of 2 years long. The course offers deep specialisation in various areas of law.

  • NLIU offers LL.M specialisation in Constitutional and Administrative Law, Human Rights & Criminal Law, and Intellectual Property & Business Law.
  • The MCLIS course is offered by Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Centre (RGNCLC), NLIU, Bhopal.
