VBS Mumbai Admission 2025: Courses, Fees, Eligibility & Application Process

VBS Mumbai offers admission to its flagship PGDM program specialisations like marketing, Operations, Banking & Finance, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship Management, and Business Analytics. After completing the first year at VBS PGDM, students must opt for a 3-month summer internship. VBS Mumbai PGDM's total course intake is 180 students, including 45 seats for NRI students.

To get admitted to the PGDM courses at the Vivekanand Business School, Mumbai, applicants must have a solid academic profile with minimum cutoff scores in either CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAH MBA CET. VBS accepts GMAT scores only for international students. The CAT cutoff 2025 for the VBS PGDM program is the 75th percentile. AICTE, NBA, and AIU approve the institute's PGDM program. Moreover, VBS Mumbai is also a member of AACSB.

Apart from the PGDM courses, the institute also offers a fellowship in management. The course is available on a credit basis, and scholars must complete at least 30 credits in a maximum duration of 3 years.

CAT 2025 registration started on August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM and will close on September 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Admit cards will be available for download from 5 November to 30 November 2025. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled for 30 November 2025, and the results are likely to be announced in the first week of January 2026. The CAT application fee has been revised to INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

The XAT 2026 application form was released on 10th July 2025, and the exam is scheduled to be held on 4th January 2026. Eligible candidates can apply exclusively through online mode, as no offline option is available. The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a university-level entrance exam conducted annually by XLRI Jamshedpur in computer-based (CBT) mode.

Vivekanand Education Society Business School, Mumbai, offers a 2-year PGDM program. The course is available in 6 major specialisations to provide students with excellent opportunities. The batch size of the PGDM program is 180 students, including 91 male students and 89 female students. VBS Mumbai offers a Fellowship Program in Management. The course completion requires course credits, a research project, and thesis submission. FPM students must complete the coursework and assignments before the research work.

• VBS FPM applicants must have a master's degree in relevant fields, i.e., Engineering, Technology, Economics, Management, Biological Science, Social Science, Pure Science, Humanities, Commerce, with first division first class passing marks.
• Applicants' academic records, work experience (if applicable), research proposal and presentation, and Personal Interview presentation will be considered for FPM selection.

• To begin, candidates must first create XAT login credentials. The registration process is divided into three stages. Once logged in, applicants should fill in the form with personal, contact, and academic details.
• Candidates must upload correct documents, including a recent photograph and signature, to avoid form rejection.
• In case of errors, a correction window will be provided for making necessary changes.
• The last date to submit the XAT 2026 application form is likely December 5, 2025. After submission, it is advised to download and keep a printout of the form for future reference during the admission process.
