MHT CET 2027 Important Dates 

MHT CET (also called CET MHT or MAH CET), is a state level entrance exam for engineering, pharmacy and agriculture admissions in Maharashtra. State CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET exam online through the mahacet portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2027

The conducting authority has specific eligibility requirements that students must fulfil before applying for MHT CET registrations. The detailed descriptions of the MHT CET 2027 Eligibility Criteria are presented below: Candidates of any age can apply for the MHT CET exam, as there is no minimum or upper age requirement. Apart from that, candidates must meet the following MHT CET Eligibility Criteria to take the exam:

• Indian citizenship is mandatory.
• Must have passed the 12th grade (or equivalent) exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board. Students appearing in 12th-grade exams are also eligible.
• A minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 is required (40% for reserved category candidates)

Note: Non-Maharashtra Indian citizens are not required to take the MET CET to enter a Maharashtra institution. However, they must meet other admission criteria, such as a non-zero JEE (Main) BE/BTech or NEET score.

 

MHT CET Registration Process 2027  

MHT CET registration 2027 has not opened yet. Maharashtra State CET Cell started MHT CET Registration 2027 at cetcell.mahacet.org, where candidates can only sign up and create a login for now. Candidates can submit the application form without late fees till February 2027. After the conclusion of the application process, the conducting body will open the form correction window. The last date for MHT CET 2027 Form Correction will be in March 2027. The State CET Cell will begin online registration in October 2026 on cetcell.mahacet.org, and the form is filled out only online. The MHT CET application form has six steps, and you need your academic marks and scanned documents ready before you start.

1. Visit the official website. Open cetcell.mahacet.org and use only this site. Third-party links can lead to fake forms.
2. Start a new registration. Click "New Registration" and create your login. Save your login details, because you need them later for corrections and the admit card.
3. Fill in your details. Enter personal and academic details exactly as they appear on your Class 10 and 12 records, then choose your exam group, PCM or PCB. Check your eligibility first in the MHT CET eligibility criteria.
4. Upload documents. Upload your photo, signature and the required documents in the stated format and size.
5. Pay the application fee. Pay online. The fee is non-refundable, so confirm your details before you pay.

MHT CET Syllabus 2027 is based on the Maharashtra Board’s Class 11 and 12 syllabus. Approximately 20% of the questions are based on Class 11 topics, while the remaining 80% are from Class 12. The PCB First Attempt Result will be declared in first week of June 2027, the PCM Result was announced on second week of June 2027, and the PCB Second Attempt Result will be declared in last week of June 2027. Is 70 a Good Score in MHT CET 2027? 

No, 70 is considered a low score in MHT CET. MHT CET results are issued as percentiles. Therefore, students should first check which "70" you mean. 70 percentile means candidates will be able to beat about 70% of candidates, which works out to a rank of roughly 1.2–1.3 lakh in PCM and about 79,000 in PCB. 70 raw marks out of 200 normally convert to a higher percentile, about 75 to 88, with a rank of around 45,000 to 78,000, depending on shift difficulty and normalization. A good score in MHT CET is 90 percentile or above, while top government colleges like COEP, VJTI and SPIT need around 99 percentile.
