Arka Jain University, a UGC-recognized, private university opened in 2017 by the Jharkhand State Legislature through the ARKA JAIN University Act. It is the first privately run state university in the Kolhan division of Jharkhand and is certified by AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU and ASCO. It is also the first privately owned state university in Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal to be NAAC Grade A accredited. The university is also an ISO certified Educational Organization Management System and an active member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has more than 5,000 students and 175+ faculty members, which makes it a powerful academic environment.
There are seven schools in the university with 30+ programs in engineering, technology, management, commerce, pharmacy, optometry, biotechnology, law, nursing, fashion design, English and mass communication among others.
