BIMTECH (Birla Institute of Management Technology), established in 1988, is one of India's leading management institutes. The institute is supported by the Birla Group of Companies. BIMTECH is one of the third colleges in Greater Noida to have earned 'academic autonomy’ from the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The Birla Institute of Management Technology offers full-time MBA/PGDM programs with several specialisations, including Insurance Business Management, International Business, and Retail Management. The admissions at BIMTECH is based on merit and entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT and MAT. BIMTECH PGDM fee is INR 14 lakh for two years.

BIMTECH Noida has been ranked 64th in the NIRF 2024 'Management' Rankings. Furthermore, the college has released its 2024 placement record. 100% students were placed, with the highest package reaching INR 24.43 LPA. The average package stood at INR 11.10 LPA.

CAT 2025 registration started on 1 August, 2025, (10:00 AM), and the window will remain open until 13 September, 2025, (till 5:00 PM). Candidates will be able to download their admit cards between 5 November and 30 November, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 30 November 2025. The results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The CAT registration fee has been increased to INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

The students need to possess a Bachelor’s degree and a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score to be eligible for the PG admission. They must also appear for Extempore and Personal Interview rounds to get selected in the institute.

• Notification Release: The official CAT 2025 notification was released by IIM Kozhikode on July 27, 2025.Registration Start Date: The online registration window opened on August 1, 2025.
• Last Date to Apply: Candidates must complete their registration by 13 September, 2025.

How to Register:

• Registration is online only via the official CAT portal.
• A valid and unique email address and mobile number are required to initiate the registration process.
• Upon registration, candidates will receive a User ID and Password to log in and complete the application form.

Important Guidelines:

• Candidates can fill out the form in multiple sessions — progress will be saved automatically.
• Double-check all details before paying the application fee, as no edits will be allowed after payment.
• Incomplete or incorrect information may result in the immediate rejection of your application.
• SC/ST/PwD candidates must upload valid category certificates during the registration process. Category changes are not allowed post-registration.

A correction window will be provided after registration closes, but only for a limited time.

The placement drive for the 2024 batch saw over 130 companies participating in it. As many as 37 new recruiters joined the placements. The highest package stood at INR 23.43 LPA, and the average package was INR 11.10 LPA. Some of the top recruiters included Deloitte, Accenture, Maruti Suzuki, Cognizant, Hyundai, SBI, Panasonic, Genpact, Bata, Infosys, Oppo, Make My Trip and more.
