Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University popularly known as DSP MU based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, established in the year of 1946 as a degree college.Later on, in 2017, it got upgraded to University. It is also identified as the one of best universities in India.It is also certified by NAAC.also, it is recognized by UGC.The university offers programs like UG, PG, PG Diploma and PhD programs. For this program it offers different courses which include BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, BEd, LLM, MCA, MBA level etc in various levels and in various departments. Every year, it offers around 500+ seats for eligible students.The college provides Facilities like Auditorium & Classrooms, Hostels, canteens, labs for every department , Gym, sports complex , library full of available books and many others.

The University provides admissions for various courses in the various levels of programs for various fields of Arts, Science , Commerce, Education, Law and Management.The University is known for providing top notch quality education in every aspect. Follow the step-by-step admission procedure:

• Visit the Official website at https://dspmuranchi.ac.in/Admission.aspx , click the apply admission form.
• Enter the personal details like name, address and marks obtained etc followed by selection of course/program.
• After Filling the application form, submit the required documents like Scanned Passphoto, Signature, marksheets etc.
• Application fee for general category is around 1000/- INR, 500/- INR for reservation category.
• Print the application and keep it for future use.

DSP MU Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility Criteria will differ for various programs. Under the UG program, for courses like BA, BSc, BArch, BEd, BBA, it requires candidates with a minimum of 45%-40% aggregate in a 10+2 equivalent higher qualifying exam recognised by related boards with relevant subjects and a valid CUET UG score.Also, for PG program, it requires candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate for general (45% for reservation candidates) in graduation with relevant discipline and a valid MAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT score.For PhD program, it requires candidates with good merit in relevant degree and a valid CSIR/UGC NET score.

Fees and Scholarships
