RK University (RKU), established in 2005 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, is the first private university in the Saurashtra region. The institution has a massive campus area of approx 100-acres that houses modern academic blocks, research centers, and residential facilities. With more than 5000 students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, RK University is recognized by UGC, AICTE, PCI, and accredited by NAAC. The university focuses on research and innovation, which is reflected by its 4 star rating from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell for 2023–24. RK University has two campuses one known as main campus located near Bhavnagar highway in Kasturbadham area and the other campus known as city campus located on Kalawad road, in Mota Mava area in Rajkot.
