B.Arch is a five-year undergraduate course that focuses on providing advanced knowledge of the basics of the concepts of architecture, design, etc. The degree helps the candidates in taking up the architecture-related profession of an architectural designer or an urban designer. The candidates must have completed a 10+2, with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, and the aggregate must be attained as 50 percent to be admitted to the course.

 

The course is multi-disciplinary and incorporates creative design, technical expertise, and practical applications. BArch Admissions Haryana Eligibility Criteria

To take admission to the top architecture colleges of Haryana, the candidates first need to fulfill the BArch eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for most colleges are almost similar, which are provided below:

  • The candidates need to complete their 10+2 from a recognized board, having Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • The candidates need to score at least 50% marks in their 12th standard. Candidates belonging to reserved categories, economically weaker sections, and persons with disabilities will be given a relaxation of 5 percent.
  • The candidates who have completed their 10+3 Diploma in Mathematics will also be eligible to take admission.
  • In addition to this, the candidates are required to pass the entrance examinations, such as NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch).

Harayana BArch Admission Process

The candidates are required to follow a simple Tamil Nadu BArch admission process to enroll in their desired college. The Tamil Nadu BArch admission process at NIT, Trichy is given below:

 

Step 1: First, check and fulfill the BArch eligibility criteria before moving to the admission process.

 

Step 2: Once fulfilling the eligibility criteria, visit the official website of the JEE Main to register for the JEE Main entrance exam.

 

Step 3: Fill in the required details in the application form and pay the application fee.

 

Step 4: Appear for the JEE Main Paper 2 entrance examination and wait for the results to be declared.

 

Step 5: Check the results and download your scorecard for further processing.

 

Step 6: If you got enough marks, register for the JoSAA counseling process by registering on the official portal.

 

Step 7: Update your preferences for the choice of the colleges they want to take admission into.

 

Step 8: The merit list of the selected candidates will be released by the NIT, Kurukshetra.

Will the reservation be provided to the candidates in the Haryana BArch admission?

Yes, the reservation will be given to the candidates belonging to the categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD. Candidates under reserved categories are required to submit genuine certificates at the time of applying and also at the time of verification of the document. The seats will also be distributed according to the prescribed percentage of each category.

What is a Tie-Breaker in the merit list in the B.Arch admissions?

In a case where two or more candidates score identical marks, the candidate who scored a better mark in Mathematics is preferred. In the event of a tie marks in Mathematics, the marks in English are referred and in case a tie is still not broken, then the older candidate will be favored.

Can I still apply for the B.Arch admission if my 12th results are awaited?

A candidate who is awaiting 12th or diploma results can apply. They will however, be required to provide evidence of scores achieved to qualify before final admission is done. If not done, their admission will be canceled.

What are the career opportunities to opt for after the BArch course?

B.Arch graduates can become architects, urban planners, interior designers, landscape architects, or project managers. They will be able to practice in an architectural office, building contractor, government or establish their practice. The candidates can also opt to pursue higher studies focused on research, including the M.Arch or special certificates.
