BTech Civil Engineering Admission Process 2025

The admission process for enrolling in the BTech in Civil Engineering at IIT Delhi is given below:

 

Step 1: The student must enroll in the JEE Main entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and it is mandatory to appear for the examination.

 

Step 2: According to the student’s JEE Main rank along with score, he/she will be qualified to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance examination.

 

Step 3: The students will be shortlisted based on their respective scores and ranks in the JEE Advanced exam. If a candidate is shortlisted, then he/she will have to register on the JoSAA website for additional counseling.

 

Step 4: During the student's JoSAA counseling, the candidate has to fill in their preferences, along with their preferred course.

 

Step 5: Once these steps are done, the seats will be allotted to the students based on their JEE Advanced ranks, the options they have filled in JoSAA, and the availability of seats. It is important to note that the availability of seats is highly based on the category as well.

 

Step 6: Once the candidate is selected, they will be required to accept their allotted seat and pay their seat acceptance fee.

 

Step 7: Once the fee is paid, the student will be required to report to IIT Delhi for further document verification and to move forward with the admission procedure.
