BTech Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is a 4-year U.G degree that integrates the principles of electrical and electronics engineering, equipping students for professions in areas such as power systems, telecommunications, control systems, and automation, among others.

 

The eligibility criteria for doing BTech EEE is to pass class 12 or equivalent having physics, chemistry & mathematics as core subjects with minimum 50% marks from recognised board. B.Tech EEE Admission Process 2025

The candidates are required to follow some simple steps to enrol in the course. The admission process for taking admission in the BTech Electrical and Electronics Engineering course at IIT Kharagpur is given below:

  • Candidates need to register for the JEE Main entrance exam and appear for the exam.
  • Based on the JEE Main score/rank, candidates will be eligible to give the JEE Advanced entrance exam.
  • After JEE Advanced candidates are shortlisted, depending on their score/rank.
  • Shortlisted candidates will have to register on the JoSAA website for counselling sessions.
  • In the JoSAA counselling session, candidates will fill their preferences, including IIT Kharagpur and the desired branch as BTech Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
