The admission process for B.Tech Electronic Instrumentation and Control at IIT Madras is as follows:
Step 1: The candidates are required to clear the entrance JEE Advanced examination which is organized by one of the IITs annually in under the aegis of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). It is necessary to be qualified in JEE Main, organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA): only the candidates who have received a positive response in JEE Main can participate in JEE Advanced.
Step 2: Once a candidate has qualified the JEE Advanced he or she is supposed to enrol with the JoSAA( Joint Seat Allocation Authority) on its official web site.
