  • Every semester, theory exams are at the end of each semester, covering all core, depth and elective subjects. Assessment is split into written tests administered by the university and in-house assessment in form of test/assignments on a semester basis.
  • Lab tests assess real-life knowledge on subjects such as production, simulations and system design. The examinations are of external control as well as being internally marked.
  • Internal testing is an ongoing process and consists of regular tasks, assignments done in class, group presentation, and prompt submission all of which affect the final grade in the subject.
  • During the last year, students can participate in major projects (individual or group) of industrial case studies, modeling, or research. These are considered through technical reports, mid-term evaluation, presentations and a pre-final viva-voce.
  • Exams are usually 2 3 hours and it asks for multiple choice, case-based questions, numericals, and short answers, and seek to ensure theoretical knowledge and practical issues are tested.
