The APJ Abdul Kalam Technological university is also known as KTU, founded by the Government of Kerala in 2014. Abdul Kalam. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses such as B.Tech, BBA, B.Arch, BCA, B.Des, M.Tech and so on. Students need to complete their 12th with at least 50% marks from relevant boards to get admission into undergraduate level courses and for post graduation level course admission students need to complete their graduation with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from relevant institutes. KTU Admission 2025

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University provides B.Tech, BBA, BCA and B.Des programs at UG level. The candidate must receive at least 50% marks in their 10+2 exam to get admission into KTU UG courses. A candidate's performance in the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Agriculture, Medical) entrance exams administered by CEE-Kerala will consider their admission to the B.Tech level.

Students who want to apply for the KEAM exam must receive 50% in mathematics separately and 50% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics combined. At the postgraduate level, KTU provides M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programs. Students need to complete a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% in the relevant field to be eligible to take admission into these courses. Students must have a valid CMAT, CAT, or MAT exam score to be a part of an MBA program.

Students will be selected for admission to the M.Tech program based on their GATE entrance exam scores. For the MCA program, a candidate must have completed at least three years of coursework with a minimum of 50% in each of the subjects such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer applications, engineering, and technology. Students will be selected for the MCA program based on how well they score on the CEE-Kerala entrance exam. KTU’s Ph.D course admission students need to complete post graduation from a relevant institute.

KTU Scholarship 2025

Students with disabilities can apply for 2500 scholarships under this program, which covers professional and technical studies at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at accredited Indian universities. The 30% of scholarships are reserved for girls which will be transferred to male students, if no female students are available. The scholarship sum includes the student's aids and appliances, books and stationery allowance, maintenance allowance, and course fees.
