Bachelor of Technology in Nanotechnology, or BTech in Nanotechnology, is a specialized undergraduate course. The 4-year total duration of the course provides the students with the skills that are needed, with focus on areas like nanoscience, nanomaterials, their application, and many more.

 

The eligibility criteria for BTech Nanotechnology are that the candidate must have passed higher secondary (10 + 2) with at least in between 50% - 60% aggregate marks in any combination of main subjects, which include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. BTech Nanotechnology Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who want to pursue this course must meet a few eligibility criteria, without which admission is generally impossible in this course. The BTech in Nanotechnology criteria are as follows:

  • Applicants must have cleared in higher secondary examination (10, +2 pattern) or appear for the higher secondary examination in the ongoing academic year.
  • Obtaining a minimum of marks between 50% - 60% overall (3 subjects) in Mathematics, Physics, and one of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices.
  • Admission examinations: Certain colleges could also ask candidates to be eligible for writing institute-level exams, state-level engineering entrance exams, or JEE Main.

BTech Nanotechnology Admission Process

The process of admission for enrolling in the BTech in Nanotechnology is more or less similar in all such colleges that provide admission based on marks obtained in the entrance exam.
