MD or Doctor of Medicine fees in India may differ a lot according to the type of medical colleges. The course fee is between INR 1 lakh to INR 5 lakh in government medical colleges. On the other hand, the fees charged by the privately affiliated medical colleges are usually high with a range of INR 20 lakh and INR 80 lakh or even higher according to the institute being studied and its facilities as well as location. The fee normally includes tuition, registration fee, exam fee and in some cases hostel fee and miscellaneous fees are also included.
