AILET Exam Pattern 2026 is going to be released along with the AILET Official Notification 2026. The exam pattern of AILET 2026 will include exam mode, duration, question types, sectional weightage, marking scheme, tie-breaking policy, and more. The AILET 2026 is scheduled for December 07, 2025 in offline mode. The exam will be conducted for two hours in the English language only. AILET 2026 Exam Pattern

The All India Law Entrance Test 2026 will be conducted by NLU Delhi in a pen-and-paper mode. The BA LLB paper now consists of 120 questions instead of 150. The AILET 2026 exam will be conducted for 120 minutes (2 hours) in English language. For LLM, the paper includes both objective and subjective questions. AILET 2026 Marking Scheme

The AILET 2026 exam follows a specific marking scheme for both BA LLB and LLM courses. For every correct answer, candidates will be given one mark. AILET 2026 Tie-Breaking Policy

When two or more candidates score the same marks, it becomes a tie. To break this tie between two or more candidates, the authorities follow a tie-breaking method. The AILET Tie-Breaking Policy 2026 is as given below-

  • If two or more candidates score the same marks in AILET 2026, preference will be given to the one with higher marks in the Logical Reasoning section.
  • If marks in Logical Reasoning are also the same, the older candidate (senior in age) will be given preference.
  • If the tie still remains, a computerized draw of lots will be used to decide the rank.
