• Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have passed 3 years of a Bachelor Degree from any recognised university.

AP ICET 2026 Other Criteria

• If any candidate is found to be non-eligible at a later stage during the counselling procedure, then their candidature will be cancelled.
• Pass in the AP ICET examination is not entitled to the candidate for admission. They will have to also appear in the counselling for admission.

Reservation of Seats for AP ICET 2026

Reservation of seats will be applicable to AP ICET 2026 according to the state reservation policies as laid down by the government. Clarity on this will be provided in the notification released during the counselling process. To avail reserved seats, applicants must submit the necessary documents. The following categories of applicants are eligible for reservation under AP ICET 2026:

1. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ ST) - Applicants from this category can avail reserved seats by submitting a category certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of AP ICET Counselling. Additionally, they can present an SSC transfer certificate with the minority status or a certificate from the Headmaster.
2. Person with Disability (PWD) - Applicants with a 40% or above disability are eligible for reservation. A PwD Certificate issued by the District Medical Board must be provided.
3. NCC and Sports - Candidates from these categories must submit original certificates issued by competent authorities.
4. CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) - Students belonging to this category should submit the following certificates as applicable:
   1. A certificate issued by the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer.
   2. Discharge book (for Ex-Servicemen).
   3. Service Certificate (for Service Personnel) issued by the Competent Authority for verification.

5. Anglo-Indian - Students belonging to this category must submit a certificate issued by the competent authority of their place of residence.

AP ICET Eligibility Criteria Qualifying Marks

It will be mandatory to score 25% marks, i.e. 50 marks out of 200 marks for the general category candidates. For the candidates belonging to the scheduled caste or scheduled tribe, have no minimum AP ICET Cutoff Marks to score in the examination.
