AP ICET Cutoff 2026 determining factors

AP ICET Cutoff 2026 depends on several factors like number of applicants, exam difficulty, number of seats, and merit ranks. In case of applicants scoring the same marks, merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in Section-A. If the scores still ties, then merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Section-B. Finally, if the tie persists, then older candidate will get the priority. In simple words, the tie-breaker checks mark in Section A first, then Section B, followed by age preference. AP ICET Cutoff Marks 2026 (Caste-wise)

The ranks obtained in the AP ICET exam 2026, will be only valid for the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualified students can get the admissions into various colleges and universities. The passing marks for the AP ICET 2026 exam are different based on the candidate's category. Candidates who meet the cutoff for their respective category will be eligible for further rounds of the AP ICET admission process. Below are the details for the caste-wise qualification marks:

• General Category (OC): 50 out of 200.
• BC (Backward Classes): 50 out of 200.

If candidates have the same score, the tie-breaker criteria will first consider marks from Section A, then Section B, and finally, the candidate's age, with older candidates getting preference.
