CSAB 2025 Application Process for special round counselling began on the official website, csab.nic.in, from July 30, 2025. The last date for this counselling registration was August 3. Along with this, the choice filling process for the JoSAA vacant seats had also commenced, with a deadline of August 7, 2025. The application form for the CSAB special round, NEUT, and the supernumerary rounds is released separately. The CSAB NEUT counselling registration started on June 23, and for the CSAB supernumerary round, the application form will be made available from August 24 to August 26.

 

The CSAB counselling application form was released online. To start with the application process, candidates are required to log in using their JEE Mains 2025 application number and password. The registration process differs for each type of counselling, namely CSAB Special, CSAB Supernumerary, and CSAB North Eastern States and Some Union Territories (NEUT). While registering for this counselling process, candidates will not have to pay any fees; however, these fees must be paid after registration and seat allotment.

CSAB 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To take part in CSAB 2025 counselling, students must follow certain rules depending on the round they are applying for, either CSAB NEUT or the Special Round. Both rounds ask for a valid JEE Main score, but other things like where the student lives, their marks in school, and whether they joined JoSAA earlier are also considered. Students applying for the CSAB Special Round or CSAB NEUT Round need to follow separate but clear steps. The entire application process is done online through the official CSAB website, csab.nic.in.

  • Step 1: Go to csab.nic.in and choose either CSAB Special Round or CSAB NEUT, depending on the eligibility.
  • Step 2: Enter the JEE Main 2025 Application Number and Password. OTP authentication is required for access.
  • Step 3: Provide personal, academic, and category information carefully, matching your JEE Main records.
  • Step 4: Upload scanned copies of required documents.
  • Step 5: Fill in your preferred institutes and branches. Lock your choices before the deadline; otherwise, the system will auto-lock the latest saved choices.
  • Step 6: Finally, download and print the confirmation page and fee receipt for later use.
  • Step 7: Report to the allotted institute physically, along with the documents and receipts.
