NIFT 2025 Results: Dates, Good Score, Toppers List, Mark Vs. Rank

NTA released NIFT 2025 Final Results on June 22, 2025. The final results were prepared based on the candidates’ performance in stages one and two of the examination. Stage 1 results included scores from the General Ability Test and the Creative Ability Test. On the other hand, stage 2 results included scores from the Situation Test, Group Discussions, and Personal Interview. A separate merit list of candidates who scored high ranks in both stages was also released with the final results. NIFT 2025 Stage 2 Exams were held on different dates for each course. The B.Des Situation Test was conducted on June 8, 2025, while the M.F.Tech Personal Interview took place on June 3, 2025.

Steps to Download NIFT 2025 Results

NIFT 2025 results were available at nift.ac.in/admission or exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. Following the simple steps, candidates could check the results below:

• Step 1: Visit the official NIFT or NTA website.
• Step 2: On the NFIT website, click on the “NIFT 2025 Results” link.
• Step 3: Enter candidate data: roll number, date of birth, and application number.
• Step 4: Click the “Proceed” link.
• Step 5: The results for the given candidate will be displayed on the screen.

NIFT 2025 Result: Tie-Breaker

NTA used a tie-breaker policy for candidates with the same marks to determine the final ranks. Here is how the tie-breaker criteria for determining final ranks work:

• To resolve a tie, NTA considers the score of the test that carries more weight. For example, if two candidates have the same GAT score for B.Des, the CAT score is used to break the tie since it has a higher weightage
• If candidates have the same score in the CAT test, the GAT test scores are considered to break the tie.
• If the tie remains, section-wise marks are considered in the following order: Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Ability, and General Knowledge & Current Affairs.

NIFT 2025 Result: Benefit Marks for Wrong Answers

NTA awarded benefit marks to candidates for any incorrect questions identified in the NIFT answer key.

• Candidates who have attempted the wrong questions in the NIFT 2025 are awarded benefit marks.
• This policy applied to both GAT and CAT tests.
• To get benefit marks from wrong questions, candidates would have to raise challenges to the answer key released by NIFT.
• If experts deem the question to be incorrect, candidates who have attempted it are awarded marks.

NIFT 2025 Result: Toppers and Examination Statistics

The NTA published the list of toppers with the NIFTEE 2025 results, with their All India Ranks (AIR) and their places of residence.
