What is a Good Score in NIFT 2025?

NTA NIFT 2025 Tie Breaking Policy

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal scores, the merit ranks shall be determined through the following tie-breaking rules.

• The test score carrying more weight shall be given preference in order to break the tie. For instance, in the B.Des program case, the scores in the CAT exam shall be used for the purpose.
• In case the CAT scores are equal, the process of comparing the GAT scores will be the next step.
• If the tie is still unsettled at this stage, then the subject-wise scores of the candidates will be compared in the order of Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Ability, and General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

NIFT 2025 Final Results

NTA will declare the final results of NTA NIFT 2025 in April 2025.

In B.F.Tech, final results will only depend on the marks scored in the GAT exam. For B.Des, final results will be calculated by assigning weightage to the GAT, CAT, and Situation Test. However, final results for M.Des in NIFT 2024 will be calculated based on GAT, CAT, and Interview, with each being given a certain weight. Also, the final scores for the M.F.Tech and M.F.M courses will be determined by assessing performance in both the GAT and the Interview.
