Copies of the candidate’s documents, such as mark sheets, caste certificates, and disability certificates (if applicable), must be scanned and uploaded with their application form. The papers will also be verified on campus during counselling. The following is the full list of documents applicants must possess for NIFT 2026:

The NIFT 2026 application process required candidates to register on the official platform, fill out the form, and upload all necessary documents to the portal. An application fee is also to be paid when submitting the form. Here is the step-by-step process of filling out the NIFT application form:
Step 1: Visit the official NIFT website, nift.ac.in
Step 2: Create a new registration with the candidate’s name, date of birth, an active email ID, phone number, and category details. The email ID and date of birth will be the log in credentials.
Step 3: Log in with the newly created credentials.
Step 4: Fill out the application form and click on the declaration “I agree.”
Step 5: Upload documents in the recommended format and size.

NIFT Correction Window 2026
NIFT 2026 will allow candidates to review their applications and make corrections, if necessary. This window is expected to remain between the first and second week of January 2026. Candidates must login with their email ID and date of birth on the official website to make changes to the application form. Changes can be made only to the following details:

NIFT Application Process 2026: Tracking Status
