GNLU Gandhinagar Admission 2027: Process, Eligibility & Criteria

GNLU Gandhinagar admission 2027 will be conducted for the 2027-28 academic session through CLAT 2027 for the five-year integrated UG law courses and one-year LLM. CLAT 2027 registration will open on August 3, 2026, and the exam will be held on December 6, 2026. The GNLU Gandhinagar admission process 2027 includes CLAT registration, examination, counselling, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment. GNLU Gandhinagar Admission Important Dates 2027

The CLAT 2027 examination will be conducted on December 6, 2026, for admission to the 2027-28 academic session. The Consortium of NLUs has opened the online application process from August 3, 2026, with the last date for submitting the application and fee set as October 31, 2026. The detailed counselling schedule will be notified separately by the Consortium.

Note: CLAT 2027 applications must be submitted online through the Consortium of NLUs website. The exam will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates should check the CLAT 2027 website regularly for updates to the examination and admission schedule.

GNLU Gandhinagar Admission 2027 (UG)

GNLU Gandhinagar admission 2027 to BA LLB, BCom LLB, BSc LLB, BBA LLB and BSW LLB will be based on CLAT 2027. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks. The applicable minimum requirement for SC/ST candidates is 40%. The 2026-27 GNLU fee structure lists the first-year UG fee at INR 2,89,000. The university may revise its fee structure for 2027-28, so the 2027 fee should be checked against the admission brochure released for that academic year.

The GNLU Gandhinagar eligibility criteria also include the requirements applicable to different reservation and admission categories. The university's latest available admission information lists five integrated UG law courses.

Note: GNLU Gandhinagar does not offer a standalone three-year LLB course. Candidates seeking UG admission must apply for one of its five-year integrated law courses.

GNLU Gandhinagar Admission 2027 (PG)

GNLU Gandhinagar admission to the one-year LLM will be based on CLAT-PG. The LLM is offered in Corporate and Business Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Criminal and Security Law, and Intellectual Property Law.

Candidates must hold an LLB or equivalent degree in law from a recognised university with the marks prescribed by GNLU. The current GNLU LLM eligibility page specifies 50% marks, with 45% applicable to SC/ST candidates. The first-year LLM fee under the latest available 2026-27 fee structure is INR 2,93,200. The fee applicable to the 2027-28 batch will be confirmed in the new GNLU admission brochure.

GNLU Gandhinagar PhD Admission 2027

GNLU Gandhinagar conducts PhD admission separately from CLAT-based UG and LLM admissions. The university's official admissions page publishes separate notifications for doctoral admissions and other university-level admissions.

The GNLU Gandhinagar PhD admission process is governed by the university's PhD regulations and the notification issued for the relevant academic year. Candidates should refer to the 2027-28 PhD notification for the final eligibility, entrance test, exemptions, fees and intake.

Note: The PhD admission process should not be confused with CLAT admission. Candidates applying for doctoral courses must follow the separate GNLU notification and application process.

GNLU Gandhinagar Admission Process 2027

The GNLU Gandhinagar admission process 2027 for UG and LLM courses will be conducted through CLAT and the Consortium of NLUs counselling process. PhD admissions will follow a separate university process.

1. Register for CLAT 2027: Candidates must register on the Consortium of NLUs website between August 3 and October 31, 2026.
2. Appear for CLAT 2027: The CLAT 2027 examination will be conducted on December 6, 2026.
3. Check the CLAT result: Candidates can check their result and rank after the Consortium releases the result.
4. Register for counselling: Eligible candidates must participate in the Consortium of NLUs counselling process.
5. Select GNLU Gandhinagar: Add GNLU Gandhinagar to the preference list during counselling.
