The India International University of Legal Education and Research is a private university in Goa. It is an initiative of the Bar Council of India Trust and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). IIULER is also a member of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs).

 

IIULER offers integrated UG programs, LL.M and LL.D PG courses, a Ph.D in Law, along with special bridge courses, certificate courses and PG Diplomas. Admission to IIULER, Goa is mainly based on CLAT scores for both UG and PG law programs. Candidates are also required to meet minimum academic qualifications and participate in CLAT counselling. There is provision for spot admissions through an Expression of Interest if seats remain, in the end.

IIULER Goa offers integrated 5 year undergraduate programs in law, designed to blend legal studies with arts or business administration. IIULER Goa Application Process 2025

The admission for programs at IIULER is based on CLAT scores. The general application procedure includes:

  • Candidates need to first register and appear for the CLAT exam (UG or PG), necessary for admission.
  • After CLAT results are declared, eligible students will be invited for the CLAT counselling.
  • Then candidates will be given the option to choose preferred NLUs, this is when IIULER needs to be included in the list.
  • Based on your CLAT rank, seats are allotted in up to 3 rounds - (accept the seat), Float (wait for a better seat) or Exit (leave the process).
  • Once shortlisted, candidates need to pay INR 20,000 to confirm the seat. Followed by the remaining fees.
  • Finally, report to IIULER for final admission and document verification.
  • If any seats remain, IIULER may also offer spot admission to CLAT qualified students, through the Expression of Interest (EOI) online application forms. Intakes are First-Come, First-Served basis as applications are reviewed in order of submission.
