National Law University Jodhpur, established in 1999, is a UGC-recognised and Bar Council of India–approved residential law university offering integrated BA/BBA LLB (Hons), LLM, MBA, PG Diploma, and PhD courses. The first sem fee for the UG course is INR 3 lakh, and the LLM course is INR 1,21,500 for sem-I and INR 92,500 for sem-II. Admissions for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are based on CLAT/CAT/UG/PG scores, followed by consortium- and university-conducted online counselling, seat allocation, document verification, fee payment, and, in case of MBA, group discussion and personal interview. To appear in CLAT 2026, students must have passed/appeared in Class 12 exam and got at least 45% marks (General/OBC) and 40% marks (SC/ST). The official CLAT notification is out, the CLAT 2026 registration process begins on 1 August 2025, and the last date to apply is 31 October 2025. The CLAT 2026 exam date is 7 December 2025.

Admission to National Law University Jodhpur is through entrance scores/merit. This is followed by form filling, document upload, fee payment, counselling/interview rounds and document check.

 

How to Apply for NLU Jodhpur?

  1. Visit the Consortium of NLUs website and in the Admissions section, apply for CLAT 2026.
  2. For MBA, give CAT/MAT/CMAT or a university-administered exam for PhD and fill out the application form on the NLUJ website.
  3. Upload the required documents (given below).
  4. Pay the non-refundable application fee:
    • INR 4,000 (General/OBC/NRI) or INR 3,500 (SC/ST/PwD/EWS/BPL) for CLAT-based courses
    • INR 1,000 for MBA Insurance & Risk Management
    • INR 2,500 (General), INR 1,500 (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), or INR 5,000 (Foreign Nationals) for Ph.D.
