Admission Stage

Key Details

Step 1

Online Application Submission

Fill out the online application form at the NIU admission portal and pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,100. Required academic and identity documents must be uploaded or emailed to admissions@niu.edu.in. (marksheets, identity proof, entrance scorecard, etc.)

Step 2

Document Verification & Entrance Exam

NIU verifies eligibility and documents. Eligible candidates receive details of the NSAT / Entrance Test / GD-PI (date, time, venue) via registered email ID.

Step 3

Fee Payment & Seat Reservation

Selected candidates must pay the semester/annual fee immediately to reserve their seat. Failure to pay may result in seat allotment to the next eligible candidate.

Step 4

Offer of Admission

NIU issues a provisional admission letter after successful qualification and confirmation of fee payment by the accounts department.

Step 5

Final Admission Confirmation

Candidates must pay the remaining balance fee within 15 days of receiving the offer letter to confirm admission; otherwise, the seat may be transferred to waitlisted applicants.
