Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), a public university situated in the Pulwama area of Jammu & Kashmir, was established in 2005. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC) have approved all of IUST's technical and nursing programs. To promote technological, scholarly, and cultural exchange, IUST has close relationships with a number of esteemed organisations, including the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Delhi University, the University of Kashmir, and the United Nations University of Peace in Costa Rica.
