Despite a challenging macroeconomic situation, the placement drive for XLRI's 18-month flagship MBA program for the 2023-24 cohort was successful. The batch consisted of 115 of the top handpicked talents, 111 of whom chose to engage in the placement process and 101 of whom were able to find work on campus. Students' objectives were satisfied as part of the effort to get excellent placements.
The cohort of students brought a wealth of diverse experiences, including an Army Colonel, Merchant Navy Officers, an IT Officer, the founder of an NGO, entrepreneurs with fundraising experience, a dentist, a state-level athlete, an Art of Living Faculty member, a Global Culture Ambassador, a professional trekker, and others. The cohort's previous employers include HDFC Bank, ITC, Amazon, Accenture, Reliance, Shell India, Novartis, Honeywell, Ernst & Young, PwC, Tata Motors, SBI, and Maruti. Furthermore, the cohort's average work experience was 7.5 years, with an average age of 30.
The 2023-24 batch received an overwhelming number of job roles from top leading companies and organizations. The job roles which students received during the 2023-24 XLRI Placement Drive were Chief Manager, Assistant Vice President, Senior Manager - Digital Marketing, Business Consultant, Managing Partner, Senior Product Manager, and many more. The PGDm (GM) batch received an average and median salary package of INR 27.07 LPA and INR 24.00 LPA, respectively. Among all the batches of 2023-24, the highest salary offered was INR 53.53 LPA. Out of which, the top 10%, 25%, & 50% students are earning an average of INR 47.07 LPA, INR 40.20 LPA, and INR 33.40 LPA, respectively.
