Punjab B.Ed Admissions

• Updated on  Jul 21, 2025, by Anusmita Bhatta

The admission for B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) in Punjab is dependent on the Common Entrance Test (CET) carried out by the universities such as Punjab University, and Guru Nanak Dev University, etc. The candidates should have a bachelor or master degree. The selection procedure is entirely online in the official Punjab B.Ed admission portal where the forms can be filed alongside the fee within the stipulated time.

The CET test is a multiple-choice examination that normally tests the teacher competence, language ability, knowledge of general awareness and ability to reason. Results are announced after the exam and then there is online counselling where the candidate picks colleges according to merit and reservation policy. Verification of documents normally has to be done by being in person and admissions are done prior to the beginning of classes which are typically in October. The cost of tuition varies in government and in chartered colleges.
