• Updated on  Jul 18, 2025, by Kirti Mehendiratta

The Bachelor of Education program in Rajasthan is designed for aspiring teachers who have completed a bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university. Candidates in the general category must obtain an average of 50 to 55% marks in their graduation to be eligible. Candidates in reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, MBC, or PwD, are entitled to relaxation in the qualifying marks as specified by the state government. Candidates also have to pass the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET), a state-level entrance examination organized annually by a specific university on behalf of the Rajasthan government to gain admission into the best BEd colleges in Rajasthan.

The students are required to submit the application form correctly with personal and academic information, attach the necessary papers, and submit an application fee. Once a candidate appears in the PTET exam, those who qualify will have to undergo counseling, which involves checking the documents and allotting the seat. Upon a successful verification, candidates will then be called to pay the admission fee, which will earn them a seat.
