Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) is an undergraduate degree course conducted over three years that trains how to create news, develop stories, and how media operates on the different platforms such as various forms of online media, print, television, and radio. The course integrates theoretical and practical skills preparing students for a future in the field of journalism, news anchors, content creators, public relations person etc.

 

BJMC admissions are largely on the basis of merit based on higher secondary (10+2) scores or using entrance examinations like CUET, IPU CET, and on university-specific entrance tests. The short listed candidates go through counselling, verification of documents, after entry test works, although results are given after the second semester exams.

BJMC Admission Eligibility Criteria

  • The educational qualification requires the completion of 10 + 2 in any stream from a recognised board.

BJMC Admission Process 2025

The admission procedure to secure a seat at KR Mangalam University is outlined below for BJMC:

 

Step 1: The candidates must check if they are eligible and then they have to log-in in the online application form of KR Mangalam University from their portal.

 

Step 2: The students should fill up and also upload the required documents. Once they have filled and submitted the application, the candidates will have to note down all the significant dates of the entrance exams.
