B Sc Hons Agriculture is a four-year program offering detailed and expert instruction in agricultural sciences to equip students for many different agriculture-related careers. BSc Hons Agriculture Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who fulfill the following eligibility requirements can apply for a B Sc Hons Agriculture program in India.

  • The candidates need to have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board with English and any three subjects chosen from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or Agriculture.
  • Most places need students to finish with a minimum aggregate of 60% or above. At some universities, getting direct admission could require a higher cutoff (e.g., 90% at LPU) and reserved categories, people from the North-East, Sikkim, Defence, their dependents and Kashmiri migrants wards usually get a 5% cut in the required marks.
  • Most colleges insist that applicants take certain entrance exams like the university’s particular test (like LPUNEST at LPU), CUET or various agricultural entrance examinations held at the state or national level.
  • You must turn 16 by December 31 to be an applicant for the coming academic year. Sometimes there is a set age limit for institutions, but this depends on the rules.
  • If you are from the Science stream (taking Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, the Biology Group or Agriculture) in 10+2, you can apply. There are some colleges that admit students with Biotechnology on their application.

BSc Hons Agriculture Admission Process 2025

Given below is the complete admissions process for students in BSc Honors Agriculture, at Lovely Professional University (LPU) 2025:

 

Step 1: You must make sure you meet the requirements before proceeding.

 

You must have obtained Class 12 (10+2) in which Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology or Agriculture or an equivalent subject, was studied from an approved board.
