MBA Information Technology Syllabus: Core Subjects and Exam Pattern

The MBA Information Technology is a two-year postgraduate course which is aimed at imparting the management approach and complex IT skills. The course aims to provide students with a sound knowledge of business administration, as well as the challenging sphere of information technology, to prepare them to take on leadership roles in an environment where business is driven by technology. The MBA Information Technology syllabus includes the foundational concepts of programming, database management, software engineering, and business processes, including the soft skills necessary and research methodology.

 

In the later semesters of the course, the MBA Information Technology syllabus is extended to more advanced subjects (data mining, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and project management). MBA Information Technology Exam Pattern

The MBA Information Technology exam pattern at Savitribai Phule Pune University is a Choice-based credit system (CBCS) with a grading system. The exams in the MBA Information Technology course are divided into internal and external exams. The internal and external exams have a similar weightage of 50 marks each. To pass, students will be required to have a minimum of 40 per cent in both internal and external examinations, and the scores are shown under a 10-point grading scale using SGPA and CGPA.
